Not everyone can be creative either. Its not as simple as thinking of something new, because to be truly creative you also need that thing to be useful, fun or just cool.

A new way to work may prove to be useful but would anyone with half a brain really call that person creative just for that?

No. Otherwise, I could claim to be creative when I walk instead of driving somewhere, or having Mashed Potatoes with Spaghetti.

Good thinking. Creativity certainly isn't anything like privilege. It is not hold on some mystic distant minds (which can keep it thou). But creativity which shows is linked with courage, courage to pull up something 'un-thinkable'. Conservative powers around us restrict those. Blue, gray and glass are some examples far from creativity. Creativity and humour are also not far from each other.

That's tragic! I raised my girls in a creative environment. It certainly did not warp them. They grew up to be two incredible women. One is a real estate broker in NYC, trying to save to go to animation school. One is a new mommy, just finished serving in the 82nd Airborne. You can't stymie your creative soul!

Great vid, terrible product Hp wont back up their laptops there a petitions all or the web trying to make HP recall laptops that mine is the tx1000 ($1400 tablet) their are even vids on youtube telling people ways to try and fix their own. The motherboards are bad and HP knows it just thought I would try and warn people. The do make nice bookends if you have two :(

Interesting Val,

To me creativity is your mind moving outside of the mindset of the usual, taking what's around you and in you to express your feelings about any given subject.

Your creative talents use colorful art and delightful personality.  Others may be creative in figureing how to drive a nail in a tight spot. I think we are all creative in our routines but just don't give ourselves credit for having that ability.
