  • We manufacture ozone generators-this video is very difficult to see/hear, but I can tell you that these things do work and they are super effective. There are a lot of these machines on the market, but be careful because some do not work as they claim to due to crappy manufacturing.

Ozone machines create ozone (o3), which is used to break down the odor molecules in the air, walls, closets, etc. It then converts back to oxygen (02) within a half hour-hour.

  • dose this actually create o3 or is it o2 or what dose it create

  • speak up son!

  • what can you do with it?

  • we do abatements, and if you go into a room where the ozonator has been left on for more than an hour, you can't stand it more than a few minutes. Danger..!! to any asthsmatic person, with a high O3 concentration. I wouldn't put this in a cardboard box...there is a REAL danger of fire ignition.

  • Buy from maker is a much more easier job.

  • I bought my synergy ozone generator from ebay for about 350.00. Works excellent and came with a lifetime warranty. It's cool for a do it yourselfer to build your own, but if you're not, I'd check Synergy out on Ebay.

  • Well, I must say that is the most creative hack to have OZONE. I like this video.

Not sure why there are people obsessed with your lighting. I know I can clearly see you created your very own OZONE maker. I know when I was a teen I could have used one to clear up the dirty sock smell, or stopped tossing them on the floor. Sure did not need a light to see it. Because OZONE Generators are the bag baby !! OZONE FRESHNESS YAY. lol

  • @MrKyja72 Should I stress the word OZONE a few more times? lmao. Good for you kizm0, you should be proud of your self for your creativeness and you never know what mold spore might blow through town or be growing it the corner of the closet or what ever.

  • who told you that Ozone kill you? may be pharma, or FDA or ......am drinking every day and washing my body....am getting free from all my problems and getting healthy .

  • well let me be the 2nd to complain.. I don't know what im looking at

  • ever heard of a light?

  • @proverb311031

27,708 views and you're the only person to complain.

  • @kizm0 Can you read? -- At all?

  • @kizm0

GET A FUCKING LIGHT!!!!!!!!! there its two but seriously get a light

  • Ozone is naturally present - generally in VERY small amounts. Negative ion generators, PROPERLY designed have LOWER voltages, do not produce a corona effect and only generate miniscule amounts of ozone. How really bad ozone is, is totally dependent upon the amount produced and the duration of exposure. It's a fact that ozone will chemically burn your lungs out. So avoid the hysterics. Use according to directions.

  • DO NOT BUY AN OZONE GENERATOR!!! These things are dangerous.Ozone is a toxic gas that attacks metal and perishes rubber,so what do you think it does to your lungs??If gives you severe resparatory problems, and can irritate the airways, nose and eyes.GOOGLE IT!

  • Ozone is O3 or Oxygen3 one more oxygen than O2. It's not good, but when it hit's other particules it becomes harmless instantly. If you follow the instructions you will never have any problems.

  • @blaster2012

You must work for big pharma

Keep a fan running nearby and the "toxic gas" wont build up. on this level you would really have to try hard to breath enough in to do damage.

What about the other particulates from the planes spraying the sky with crap that hangs and floats down. now there is your toxic gas. Google chemtrails.

  • @Bradwick1 Why must i work for big pharma? This is my personal opinion.Household ozone generators produce far too high a concentration to be safe.I bought one for pet smells, and after a few minutes i could feel my eyes watering and my mouth started burning because of the corrosive nature of O3.This thing pumps out 400ppm,many many times more than what is in the atmosphere. If your'e going to use one,be very VERY careful with it.

  • @blaster2012 indeed. air circulation is essential. this is not set and forget.

  • @blaster2012 you can breath at.0005ppm for the rest of your life but..400ppm that's really danger!

  • Can ozone harm you? Yes it can quite easily since it's a reactive form of oxygen and a bleaching agent. Will ozone harm you, no because you aren't in the room with it, sucking it straight from the machine, or having health issues like asthma or old age while using it. Use common sense, if the concentration is too high then it will probably cause harm like any similar chemical but if you aren't in the room or it's uselessly low, you're probably ok by code of common sense. There are also few n

  • In response to razorflown: Ozone effectively OXIDIZES atmospheric molecules, hence it's effectiveness against odors. It also binds with, i.e. oxidizes, many chemical compounds in heavier formats, hence the effectiveness in killing various molds, fungi, etc. It does NOT make particles suspended in the atmosphere "heavier". It does NOT, therefore, remove them from the atmosphere due to gravitational effects. It may be an air "purifier", but it does not "clear" the air.

  • I have found that the arc is actually a very poor source of ozone. Try placing a metal screen (mesh) on either side of a piece of glass with some dabs of silicone. Then connect one wire to each side and blow the air past it with your fan. Depending on your transformer this should produce way more ozone.

  • I remember I managed to remove fingerprint from glass with homemade ozone generator (for laughs and giggles I guess). It is extremely powerful bleach, no less. Everyone should remember that.

  • Ozone is same unsafe as water. If there is to much of water you might drown. Litle of ozone is very healthy.

  • Says who?

Sorry, but there was the same kind of fad regarding radiation. People were ignorant enough to use radioactive isotopes daily. Some claimed it to 'be healthy'.

I'm not saying it is deadly, or even harmful in low doses, but no one should feel comfortable claiming it is healthy. There is possibility it indeed is, but still according to SCIENCE more probable version is that it is not.

  • Ya, ozone is really bad. You need to read about it. But ozone generators do have their place. They will kill smells and mold. So all you have to do is make sure the room is unoccupied to run them. I have a buddy who runs one in his little kids room all the time cus he thinks its cleaning the air. Poor kids. But hey! What do I know lol.

  • Ozone is not SMOG. Which is the common misconception. Ozone Generators create carbon dioxide and it converts into pure oxygen. That is why the smell is good. When the machine is too powerful for a room, it is the carbon dioxide that effects you. Simple symptoms of headache, upset stomach are warnings to turn it off for some time.

I use one next to my cats litter box and it takes care of everything. I also leave the door open so that the ozone isnt sitting just in one room.

  • No, that's not true. Ozone destroys the alveoli in you lungs. Ozone has 3 oxygen atoms that form O3 or ozone. Ozone works because this molecule is inherently unstable, when it comes into contact with with any object, one of the oxygen atoms binds to that object making it heavier and it thus sinks to the floor, removing it from the air. This is how ozone removes smells and dust from the air. Unfortunately it also binds to the alveoli in you lungs, damaging them! Maybe you should read more.

  • Where does the Carbon come from?

  • I see what you meant by Ozone Generators create CO2, when the O3 contacts something carbon based it gives off CO2. I thought you meant that CO2 comes out of the generator which is totally wrong.

  • It has never killed me.

  • @r4nd0mn4me

Wow, it must have been really late when I posted that. You do NOT want to breath ozone directly out of the unit. Doing so can cause you to have something similar to an asthma attack (I have had asthma, breathed in ozone and survived both). If you are careful you can have a lot of fun with ozone, like removing stains from white cloths or food coloring from water. (don't use on colored cloths as it will bleach it white)

  • "biocide to kill all living things under certain conditions"

Thats kind of a broad generalized statement.

Where did you get your info?
