Nice shot. My aunt used to live in Hamburg and when we went to visit my dad and I would go photograph trains at this crossing. How long has 48/49 been running without the dining car?
the baggage car door was open becuase Angola is where they begin to sort the luggage for the Buffalo Depew stop and its my assumption that the door was open to provide ventilation for whoever was in there becuase its awfully stuffy in those cars.
Anybody notice the lack of a "real" dining car in the consist? They now advertise "casual dining/all-day menu" and apparently run with the 2 lounge cars now.

All meals are microwavable. All the china and dinnerware is disposable. It really is a damn shame.

I caught it to! The last sleeper was Gulf view, I caught that track truck to!!!! Vidoes of them both should be up by tommorow
