  • @PeteStrat07 yes, the Western idiology came in.

  • i am in love with this documentary

  • 8:50 ! "A high degree of religious tollerance." Something went seriously wrong.

  • This is the progress of people. Not Islam or any religion. Science is separate from religion and nothing to do with any supernatural beliefs.

  • @SethHesio - This is, what i said. You misunderstood my post because i used the term "Allah says". But this very term has only to do with my PERSONAL ambition and inspiration when it comes to scientific comprehension. Let me underline once again: Science is NOT limitated to ANY denomination, religion, nation, race! And ( - now don't get this sentence wrong!) that is exactly what is said in my religion, the Islam.

  • @Noaiy Good for you. Science is the way forward.

  • @SethHesio absolutely

  • @Noaiy Supernatural without proof is ridiculous right?

  • The translation effort was a fantastic idea and and great success. The world is a much better place because of the efforts taken by millions of individuals. But to claim this as Islamic science is misleading. It was an accumulation for the most part simply of other peoples work. Some connections were made and Algebra is a very good contribution, but it is history being rewritten by conquerors, not science being advanced by thinkers. Philosophy dies here after this initial flush of money.

  • @luxfair lol... no thumbs down? Im surprised !

  • Much of what is referred to as "Islamic Science" pre-dated the arrival of Islamic armies and was generated by scientists who were either not ethnic Arabs, were not Muslims, or who had to convert to Islam in order to attain access to education, equipment and capital to further their research. Sadly, once these ethnic groups/scientists were fully dominated by Islam and subordinated to it, Islam destroyed their science and these "Muslims" fell into the Islamic Dark Age that continues until today.

  • @AlkaafirAl3aalamii Salam, brother what u have to understand is, Islam influenced them to actully shape scince within that period of time. It the scientists that contributed were a combination of Arabs and non Arabs under the Umbrella of Islam. They Obeyed "Iqra'a Bi'ismi Rabika Allazi Khalaq".

  • There is no such thing as "Islamic Science" just as there is no such thing as "Christian Science" or "Buddhist Science", so it is a gross misnomer to refer to anything scientific as "Islamic Science". Rather, it should be referred to as Indian Science, Persian Science, Arab Science, Roman Science, Greek Science, Turkish Science, or whatever ethnic group created the science during the era in question. Rewriting religion as a source of science is both misleading and wrong.

  • hi my brithers, There are many differences between the angels and jinn, and most important of these differences are three:

First: that the angels are created from light, and jinn from fire, and was Tnazlem of water.

Second: that the angels are all believers and protected from falling into sin or ordering others but good, and The Gin Some of them Muslim and infidel, and commanding them good, and them to do evil.

Third: that the angels desire Menzuao, unlike the jinn they like humans.

  • 3:31........yuck!! hes touching the gooey stuff!! blecchh!

  • u r right..one more brain whashedddd

  • Knowledge and science is the process of transfer over time from India, China and the Islamic world to the Western world

  • The ancient islam sure looks peaceful and there is a lull to it.

  • they imported maths from indians, medicine from greek, india and china...nice collectors were they..

  • The knowledge of herbal medicinal plants come from Ayurveda, indian school of medicine

  • I sure hope that stuff he's touching isn't the real deal

  • Comment removed

  • @ studboy66

Please give the source of this information!

btw angels are Djinn are two different things!

  • if i understood u right yes they r different djnni created from fire angels created from light....on a side note humans created from dirt or soil thats wot it says in the quran...

  • there is a different between djinns and angels first of all alll angels r submited to god there is no such a thing as a none beliver angel sec if u were refering to muslim djinne in the quran it litterly said ((that humans r not aloud to cummunicate with jinns muslims or not)) and u can find it in ((suret al jin))...

  • and that is a big fat lie that u said!

I am amazed that u people find such an overwhelming negative energy almost all the times!

I liked to think that there are times when people get inspired inspite of whatever hostilities they may have in their bellies but u r just shameless liar!

The Nuclear scientist which are referring to never said such a thing. i am frm Pakistan!

  • Sultan Bashiruddin Mehmood is a pioneer in the development of nuclear

technology in Pakistan. But in 1980, as a senior director of the

Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, he "recommended that djinns [or

genies], being fiery creatures, ought to be tapped as a free source of

energy. By this means, a final solution to Pakistan's energy problems

    would be found."

  • prove it

  • amazing . but im not happy how the western scientists take all the credit of the discoveries made .

  • Science is not "Muslim" or "Christian" - nor "black" or "white" - Science has no boundaries. Allah says that Science is the way to recognize his grace, and EVERY human being, no matter to which denomination he/she belongs should investigate in understanding the nature.

  • @Noaiy Don't bring the idea of God into this... it's science, it's progress, leave the belief in the supernatural out of it. It's not anything to do with this.

  • @SethHesio True words, rationalism will prevail(let's hope)

  • media and the attention for authority....arab gov r sooo currpted

  • @muhammadtorres they didn't, later western generations of scientist bestowed the credit upon them.

  • no wonder i cant be a medical doctor...

  • Muslims just watcha nd know what we are capable of. Thats it and shun the ignorant that curses the Muslim it is cuz they have no knowledge whatsoever. Alhamdulillh

  • learn to spell b4 u start making comments about science or religion

  • @microman780 I'm seeing the live version tonight at the University of Liverpool haha Jim Al-Khalili "standing on the shoulders of eastern giants" should be good :)

  • You should remember that the presenter Jim Al-Khalili, is an Atheist! He has not done this for the glory of the religion but the culture. This is what he says on an interview with Alok Jha, on Science weekly.

"Richard Dawkins has made more cuddlier atheists a bit more respectable and a bit more middle off the road and so "you feel that you can stand up and say yes 'i am an atheist'
