Thanks, I did have some help. A friend suppled some of the parts for the build, however it turned out that the engine (10hp) doesn't provide enough power once fully submerged.
So for the time being I'm looking for a larger power plant. So it's just sitting in the back yard for now. I've been thinking about using an old jet ski instead. Now that would put out some discharge.

Thats pretty cool if you really did build it yourself. I would love to see it in action clearing some floodwaters!
