No, they're not the same, they do have the same names and looks and all, but it's like cardcaptor's in a world and tsubasa's in another world.. It's like they borrowed Sakura and Syaoran (And some other characters) from CardCaptors, (Or maybe it's the other way around..) But it's not the same plot.. Plus in Tsuabasa they showed us Sakura and Syaorans childhood memories and they were not the same as Cardcaptors. So basically no they're not the same thing. Hope I cleared everything up! XD
