The lighting and textures are a little off. In part 2 there's not a lot of "thinking with portals" going on. Other than that it's a great map with quite some potential :-) I especially liked the water hazard and the flinging. Good job.
Many of your materials needed shifted on the X-axis about 64 units so it looks more modular. Not that I don't like the map, I'm just really anal-retentive :P
thanks newageserver! BTW, I noticed in your oldest fire alarm video that you made a panel with a breadboard. If you still have that breadboard circuit, can you try to email me the schematics? I would appreciate it!
@johnwarman54 It comes free with any Valve game that was purchased. It is NOT free if the game was a free promo (such as when Portal was free or the ability to get HL2: Deathmatch free if you own an nvidia card). To install it, open Steam, go to Library, then Tools, then select Source SDK and install it. That will install the entire pack of authoring tools which includes Hammer.
Add proper lighting (hxxp://developer (dot) valvesoftware (dot) com/wiki/Creating_a_wall_light), detail those metal walls (hxxp://developer (dot) valvesoftware (dot) com/wiki/Detailing_metal_walls) and fix those misaligned textures, and you've got a fairly good map on your hands!

1:15 Quite a dark room. Add some lighting to it? Other than that sweet map.
jeremy22702 1 year ago
@jeremy22702 I intentionally made it dark.

@TheBillybooboo Use Key. Also I have no idea how you are having trouble playing this level, because I did not provide a download link to anybody.

@NewAgeServerAlarm I don't mean playing it! Lol. I mean when you make the map, how do you make the stand to put the gun on?
