  • T.mobile- wait! i thought this video was for a fish giving birth!

  • i didnt see the baby platta!!

  • LOL ITPOOPED IT LOLOL.

  • i could not see any of them coming out

  • WHAT KINDA T-MOBILE COMERCIAL IS THIS

  • WHAT KINDA T-MOBILE COMERCIAL IS THIS

  • I have one like that, but I have no idea how to tell when she's ready. She's too dark to see her gravid spot.

  • i have a platty

  • Looks exactly like my momma! Only yours has a bit of black, mine doesn't. Beautiful fishy. :)

  • You Spelt ' Platy ' Wrong o_o

  • what a gorgeous platy!

  • Do you have a ROBLOX?

  • we do have a platy fish (orange color) realeased in the muddy cannal, actualy a fresh water runing canal in our vegetable garden, and they rapedly increasing now , even in the dirty canal where the water from the toilet is running, they are present and rapedly increasing in number, they even don't die that easily,.

  • i have a fish tats like tat but idk if its prego or not

  • Good video quality... Wish more people posted vids like this... Too many people posting poor quality fish vids...

  • Livebearers always tend to swim backwards at the moment they're about to give birth. This fish is no exception. I think the flow of water helps to move the fry, 'down and out', so to speak.

  • my male is in the plastic container with the mother is this ok

  • @0191jacqui Nope. A male fish should never be in those containers. They should be in a big tank to breed. Then the female should go in there all alone.

  • What kind of platy is she i want another one cause i have 2 red platies and my uncle wants me to breed my male red platy with mickey mouse platy.

  • Were do you get those cool things you put the momma in to have her baby

  • i thought fish laid eggs?

  • @HighFive8D they do but there a few species called "livebearers" the eggs hatch in her tummy or on the way out so you don't see the eggs.

  • fuck

  • Wow very nice platy!

  • hello, my platie male (weird looking one , with a long sword tail) was doing that yesterday to the female fish. I have a question, i have four platies , two are swimming around but the other two are sitting at the bottom , breathing but not doing much else also they both have white stripes on them that were not there before, are they sick?

  • my mickey mouse platy gave birth to 2 baby platies.since there were only 2 mickey mouse platies (one boy one girl) i thought the girl was eating too much since she was really fat.i though she was just eating too much so i didnt put her in a container since she didnt have a dark spot.

  • My platy just gave birth! Shes a sunburst wag.

  • Hmm see I've had my female platys for about 3 weeks and all of a sudden yesterday i saw 3 tiny fry...put my breeding trap into the tank and even with the "safety fry" plate covering the grate at the bottom they still sneeked around it and swam into the main tank and got eaten...

  • one of my platys is just like this one execpt not as fat but thats just because yours is pregnant nice vid

  • platy bell

  • i thought fish giv birth thru mouths?

  • Can it be a long time between the births? I mean, between the frys? Because mine is in a breeder trap and I can see one fry in there, I think there will be more but it has been like 20 minutes since i saw the first fry...

  • Mine is three times larger than that and still isn't giving birth yet.

  • @mosaicglass same! Its really frustrating, i can't tell whether or not to put her in the nursery

  • how do they mate anyway??

  • @illbeurluckycharmz doggy style lol

  • @JonnyMakesVideos LOL!!!! X-D

  • @illbeurluckycharmz

platies and other livebearers hump for the lack of a better word lol

  • that is the most beautiful platy i have ever seen

  • What do you have her in it looks like a mini container. I am thinking about breeding platies and don't no much about it.

  • @ShakoSaber18 She is only in the small plastic "birthing container" while she is giving birth to her fry. The parents and the other fish you may have in the tank will eat the babies, so separating them is important if you want them to live. I got the "birthing container" at petsmart, although they labeled it as a "breeding container" you should not put them in there to breed.

  • @ChristinaR5 how long do you keep her in there for ???? plz anwser my mom thinks you keep them in there for weeks and i say like a day whos right

  • @ShakoSaber18 If you don't want a big container in your tank, I've found a better option is to add some bushy live plants to your tank (hornwort maybe? that's what i used) and also add some floating plants (plastic or real) these provide tight and out of sight areas the babies can hide and platies will naturally pick a spot like this to drop their babies. I have about 2 dozen babies that grew up in these with no extra care or feeding from me. when they get big enough, they swim out for food

  • @ShakoSaber18 the first thing you need is a prego platy or 2 platys 1 male and 1 female and a litttle bit of lants send me a message l8ter and you can ask me some mor qs if u want:()

  • how come i never i see that fish platy in any store

    any help?

  • @PAOHMONGYANG

do you mean platies altogether or that type of platy? If it's the type, they're not at my local fish shop either. If it's platies in general, ask one of the people working there.

  • what is she in

  • i jus bought a platy and i think shes pregnant can anyone tell me...i posted a vid...plz plz reply

  • she is so cool

  • i can never find this fish in big als or pj pets

  • lol swordfishes and plattys can bread, guppy's swordfishes and plattys can all bread with each other, you can also get some wicked combos from them.

  • beautiful fish(:

when mine gave birth, back when I still kept fish, I told my friends about it that day. They insisted that fish ALWAYS lay eggs. Even though I had seen this, studied this, and showed them, they still refused to accept the fact that it had been a live birth.

  • WOW, this is a nice platy you have.

  • hey my platty give birth today!!! can platty mate with sword tail?? :)

  • no, they r different species

  • @ChristinaR5 actualy that's wrong they CAN mate. They are different species but they are in the same genera.

  • @DelValle1980 oh, I didn't know. I'm more of a reptile person, I'm no fish expert :P

  • @DelValle1980 hi i have about more than 29 baby platies.

is baby platies will look like their mother or they will look different? please reply..thank you

  • @999KAPASIA999 depends on the pairing, if the female came from the pet store with only the same color as the female then after a few months they will look like the mother, but if its a mixed platy tank then you don't know who the father is and they will turn out mixed. FYI if the parents look like the mother in this vid, the babies will look orange for a good while until they get bigger.

  • @MrLocos2 ya, they can and also with mollies and guppies. That would be wierd fry tho Platy+Guppy=?

  • @MrLocos2

platys and swordtails are closely related and have been known to interbreed

  • your platy wasnt even fat, how did u know to put it in the breeder box?

  • it was fatter than the others, and she had started giving birth in the tank before I put her in the breeder box

  • nice platy, our platy-mum giving birth today but some babys are dead born =(, just 10 still alive....

  • t-mobile

  • I only saw 1 and that came out at 0:10

  • You have a really good cam!

  • One of my favorite livebearers the Platy.

  • t-mobliel stick together

  • @beebopinberda Yeah, but the mommy and babies didn't :p

  • freez video at 0:10 that is when the fry is comming out

  • thnx 4 that..i was tryin 2 find it 4 ages! lol
