I was thinking the exact same thing. He should be using some sort of tool to pull the things out and at LEAST wear some goddamn sterile rubber gloves; I'm sure Tony's a decent guy (as most deathmatch wrestlers are, speaking from personal experience), but you don't know where he's been. There's no telling what could be in his blood, not to mention Tony is also running the risk of getting an infection from the ref's unsanitary hands.
