dude you really need to learn how to drive that jeep, all the way up till 7 minutes plus , you pussy footed it around...... You need to rev those RPMS to clean out the treads of the tires...... and even after 7 mins....... that's when you finally started to hit the pedal harder, but I can tell your an amatuer because that jeep would've walked all the way had you let out another 10-12 ft of slack in your line, to be able to back up far enough to hit the head harder with more momentum....
I just mounted this winch on my Jeep JK 4 door. Do you need to have the Jeep running when using the winch or do you just run it off the battery only without the alternator spinning?
@Sierra2549 i am sure you have found this out since you posted this two months ago but you absolutely want your jeep running while winching other wise your battery will drain and then you will be even worse off than before you started winching

how do you like the winch? i am ordering a winch in the next week and still cant decide. with the life time warranty from winch depot i figure what the hell even if the xrc8 doesnt work i can sell it...hopefully it just works. do you like it? and do you wish youd spent the extra hundred and got a 10k?
@kidwiththeface814 : I love the winch! having a Jeep Wrangler I would never need more than an 8,000lb to get me out of any situation. The only reason i would consider a 10,000lb is for getting other bigger vehicles out of the mud and muck, but an 8,000lb can and will do it to, but will work a tad harder. I've used this XRC8 about a dozen times and each time putting more strain on it then in this video, and it has never skipped a beat. Hope this helps
@mudslinger150 ya big help man thanks. im going to go ahead and order it for my truck. i normally wheel with friends anyway and always have my hi lift and lug all. the winch is more for ease of things when i am up north and alone in a worst case scenario situation instead of come alonging. im going to go ahead and order the 8000 for my toyota pickup
@ChristianJames6759 does your winch do anything when you hit your lead? does it click or grind at all...If not than it's probably your power going to the winch, it's probably not there so check your connections.
@ChristianJames6759 If you never figured out your XRC winch problem it is 99% probably the solenoid. They are not very well sealed. Open it up clean it out and spray wd40 on the inside. Seal up all the penetrations with some silicone.
love the color of tat wrangler

@rebelmarine870
You must have not watched much of the video. It was running the whole time.
