I only gave xbox one shot. Once my 360 gave me that ring it was done. Playstation managed to give me a product that still lives (my ps2 is still in working condition even), while xbox died within 6 months.

Two of my friends old 360 died on them within a week.... lol Crazy... now both have bought the latest Xbox 360. That's why I waited to buy the PS3 and 360 people. lol I'm glad I didn't get them right away.

Am I the only person who has owned an early 360 and never had a problem with it? I'm on my second one and thats only because i've upgraded to an Elite. I owned a PS3 for about 3 days before i returned it and told the store it didn't work and i wanted my money back. The only reason to purchase a PS3 is for God of War and Metal Gear Solid

I'm on my 3rd xbox and would buy 3 more before I bought a ps3 by the way none of my xboxes red ringed it was always the disk drive that went. Xbox latest hardware revision the Jasper chip has shrunk the chip to 65 nm solving the red ring

It was known that if you move the 360 while a game is running that it causes the "ring" on the game disk. At least there's the install option.

My Xbox 360 is dated 2005-11-11 and is the same Pro system I got in March of 2006.

Well I guess my statement has been taken out of context. I am not in any way dismissing Ps3. I am simply pondering reason's why 360 outsells Ps3, besides the online play. And striker, I'm not ignorant, my comment didn't say Sony ONLY sold Ps3's. Just said it was hinged on it's sales, meaning Ps3 is sony's top seller therefore perfection is crucial. Microsoft is hinged on computer's/computer software and doesn't need to make it perfect. They want the 360's to break so you have to buy new one's

Microsoft has much more on their plates then just gaming. Sony is hinged on playstation, so the need to be flawless is crucial to their success.... But the problem lies in marketing and name recognition, where windows holds a distinct advantage. In addition I think if sony and windows ever got together and released a console, watch out.... Imagine the possibilities

I guess you have not heard that sony makes tv's,phones,cameras,computers,­mp3 players,headphones, speakers,and many other things. Plus has a record label and movie studios and still makes a good console go figure.
