  • House of the rising fail

  • This is the second video I've seen where the person playing the organ thinks that the doors used a farfisa

  • COPY OF LEGENDARY AND RESPECTABLE UNRIVALED HAMMOND ORGAN

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha that was a really bad house of the rising sun

  • sound is not good, but how this product will grow old.. too young.. However, more than ever we see real Hammond organ mythical legendary B3, but so unrivaled new B3, SK famous series (thanks Susuki) and I think than real Hammond lovers and professional Hammond players never say good bye to state fo the art HAMMOND organs !

  • Hi I'm a piano player looking to use an organ and other various keyboards into my music. I'm a huge fan of classic and new rock'n roll bands. My influences are the doors, Santana, the Black Keys, White Strips and the Dead Weather. I'm also into fusion like the Weather Report and Return to Forever. Would this be a good buy or should I go for a different nord keyboard.

  • Nord organs sound great, but they are not usable in a church setting. I am forever tweaking the drawbars when I play Gospel music. Presets are fine for Jazz and those LED things work okay for changing between tunes, but not in real time.

  • This guy is a total tool. He almost ruined The Doors and The Animals and he doesn't know shit about the history of a music. He is a textbook example of a tool.

  • is it better than hammond xk-3c

  • First of all its pronounced 'ba-rock' second of all a baroque organ does not sound like that. Thirdly no classical organ has vibrato, occasionally tremulant but that's just obscene.

    This instrument has zero soul.

  • wich is the latest model, the nord c1 or the c2?

  • @Johanhurtig in what order do the numbers 1 and 2 usually appear?

  • I just found out my casio ctk 496 has a sound bank file for house of the rising sun..... It's number 37.

  • Could somebody tell me what is the range of manual bass in this organ? Is there a possibility to split the lower keyboard at any key? Will it work well with a big pedalboard (2 and a half octave C-f1)?

  • @KerParavel There's a fixed split in the lower keyboard at C3. There is a 27-key large pedalboard available, which is C - d1.

  • did he just call the doors 60's brit rock??

  • @SupairDup He said the patch was reminiscent of 60's British rock. Whatever. This patch needs work.

  • jejeje at some points during the LMF solo...it seems like he's playing some ? and the mysterians' tune hehehe

  • agréable super!

  • Pipe Organ with rotary speaker? Hmmm... ^^

  • xD the doors never made Light my Fire wuth a farfisa !!! They have done this song with a Vox Continental !!!

  • @flakedogg2, the pedals are Studiologic MP-117. I don't see these anymore. They are great... just small.

  • what model of stand are you using?

  • the Doors used a Vox continental and a Gibson G101 organ----The Music Machine & Sam the Sham[Wooly Bully]--used a Farfisa-------------Charlie

  • right you are crazypainter!

  • Yeah! I got disappointed when he didn't mentioned the Doors on the Vox, and then he said that the Doors made the Farfisa Compact Deluxe popular, and he started playing Light my Fire, and I went like "WFT?! Shut up, you crazy nitwit!"

  • It really makes you wonder--these so called-- Music professionals --don't know their music history---!---Everyone knows Ray M. used a woooden key Vox in the beginning and a Gibson G101 Compact organ---later on----besides the electric piano's--listen to "My eyes have seen you--"'--nothing like Real Analog keyboards--The Door's Rock------Amen --Charlie

  • Amen to that!

  • @crazypainter56 well, actually he also used a Italian plastic key continental. But the keys kept breaking, so he bought a Gibson G101, or Kalamazoo K101.

And, actually, he used a Farfisa compact, for one concert; one single concert, as far as I know. But you're right, what he is saying is wrong.

  • @guitarkris he didn't play veary well ether, no rakes or anything.... i guss hes more of a synth guy anyways, but yea u know the reason he used the farfisa was because ether his other organ was not at the show, so he set off in panic in serch of one, well it just so happend someone left one at the place he was plain, and so he just set it up and boom kicked ass

  • apparently not everybody knows! You're right, the sales/tech guys don't know their history. Jim Morrison was dead for years before this guy was even born. Still, the C2 is an unbelievable keyboard! Heard one live a few nights ago & it's just killer.

  • @crazypainter56 and rick wright of pink floyd used a farfisa in the early days, and i think throughout their career too.
