I bought my Alienware M17X R3 in January. I have aeen videos and read information on the internet about the wireless HD capabilities but I can't get my computer to recognize the wiHD card. What am I missing. I purchased the 2820, Intel Ultimate N 6300 wireless card, nvidia 460M. Can you help me understand
Pros: • Faster CPU • Wireless HD • 3D • USB 3 • Intel P67 Express chipset Cons: • Possible plastic casing • No SLI/Crossfire options for GPUs • No RGB display option • Reduced screen size (16:10 - 16:9) • DRM embedded in 'Sandy Bridge' chips I wouldnt upgrade from my R2
@GenuineMW2 i have M17x R2 which has 2 5870 ati mobile radeon cards. Gets me 16.5k with 840 qm processor (would hit ~23k with 940 xm oc. . .). . . most laptops are 16:9 doesnt make 16:10 useless. . Infact the extra realestate with rgb is awesome. . Plus R3 doesnt even compete with R2. . . It is a lighter version of the latter. . An upgrade for M15x really. . .
god, why can't they put IPS matrix into 3000$ laptop? Compare blacks on TV and on laptop. Laptop screen really sucks, instead of dark contrast parts we see blue glowing. FU CK TN displays, give us ips :)

This laptop is compatible with the Netgear Push2Tv adapter... otherwise this feature doesnt work

@verumtube R3 seems to be lighter version, since earlier models costs were 3-4K only few people could buy them
