  • That horn sounds like it came from an SP unit!

  • moving at that rate, he'll get to meadville in 11 years

  • Hahahahahaha fortunately once they get past the N. Chelmsford wye they get to move a little faster

  • @TNT314159 Ha! You're not kidding. Coal trains are restricted to 10mph all the way from the wye in North Chelmsford all the way to Bow (I live a few miles south of the Bow powerplant.) Track conditions are horrid...

  • LOL yup. Only track worse is the Conn river line, 5MPH most of the way...

  • Thank God that crazy level crossing bell was not in Finland; there level crossing bells keeps ringing until the train has passed and the barrier lifted! It would have sent you mad!

  • That bell from 1:52-2:08, I've never heard one ring so fast! LOL

  • Neither had I, but when I got a tip that this crossing had a crazy bell I made it a priority to go there to catch this train

  • Yay for standard cabs leading!!!!

  • Great shots, Matt. I really love the standard cab C40s. 87341 definitely needs a new coat of paint. BTW, is that a WRRS mini-bell I hear in the second shot?

  • Its very dirty, and yes that is a mini-bell. Its the only one I know of on the Pan Am system. Actually it's the only one I know of at all lol

  • I like that first locomotive, its funny about 10 years ago i remember seeing two of those go past Walpole Station in CSX paint.

  • Very rarely CSX's standard cab Dash-8s will make their way east
