@x6o4SaVagEx No it started in 2002 in Croydon at the latest with Horsepower Productions and several others. I've been listening since it began. Some people argue it started in 1999 with Zed Bias and EL-B experimenting with 2 step garage and dub. That is how it started anyway.

@nbsffreak212 True, I bought mimosa's hostilis album off of itunes spring of 08 i believe. had 2 previous downloads before me, was a rare epic find at the time. now hes huge...its crazy. He's what got me into the whole dubstep thing. I prefer crunchy future basses over wobbles though.
