aww I'm really sorry about that I know L was great and I cried when he died. But it really wasn't Rem sama's fault. She wanted to protect Misa so Light tricked her into killing L so that Misa wouldn't get suspected as Kira. It's all Light's fault and he did it all to kill L so that he wouldn't get found out.

no rem's a female... it tells u in vol 6 of deathnote and in the back of vol 6 of death note it tell u there are male and female shinigamis... also it tell u that in vol 13 it's not like 1-12 of the manga it's all the info u need to know about deathnote!
