no there not hard to understand, and most are not that hard to impersonate...it's just that most australian band/singers seem to sing very nasal-y and it makes tham sound american...it's just annoying i guess...there is nothing wrong with american accents on americans though!!!!! sorry if i made it sound like there was...wasn't my intention!

ive always wondered if our Australian accents sound a bit strange?....or funny to other countries.

But nah American accents sound great, except on movies you cant really tell what the American accent really sounds like because it sounds "normal" in the least. You have to listen to an interview or something like that to pick it up. But i reckon its great lol,
