I grew up in Tulsa and Howe. I loved it but I must say in parts of Oklahoma the wind blows so much the weeds grow at an angle. I am not sure if that is because Oklahoma sucks or blows. LOL OK has its good and bad points but no matter what, it stayes in your heart. I miss it now.
Oklahoma indeed is a great state, but it is not for everyone. If you are into the hip metro life and prefer big brother taking care of you, then no, you won't like it here. If you like to be left the heck alone and prefer a little space, then this is the place. We have trees in the east, plains grasslands in the west, and a lot of interesting history if you really check into it.
thats why you find out where the good bars and clubs are. but sometimes you end up in texas like my friends and i did. found some great bars there LOL
