I say they nailed it. It's the "Rocky Horror PUNK Show", not the "Let's cover it so close you can only tell the difference by the fact that meatloaf isn't singing". Yeah, the chorus is FUBAR, but it's FUBAR in the way a punk adaptation should be. NAILED IT.

hi icekid, buy the album and support these guys. they r intergalactic, true, but when they r at home they live in the sf bay area. it costs a lot to dock a spaceship here! We all need to help out r favorite bands. they have major expenses! plus they have to pay for fresh Orbit food in space. very costly! i love free downloads for ppl who make way too much money charging $50 per ticket, but these guys play with 5 other bands and only charge $10 for the whole night. <3 phenomenauts 4ever!

I really LOVE the Phenomenauts, but covers really don't seem to be their thing - see "Make a Circuit with me" for another example.

It's all good, though, since their original stuff usually rocks. And that's far more important for a real band.
