And also the mclaren and BMW team on theyr era 2003 and mclaren 2005 2007, enginers werent bad, but they wanted to dominate the year like ferrari did on his era, may that smashed them down, mclaren let montoya leave in mid of 2006 and fucked up alonso and lost both championship in 2007, letting an unexperience driver like hamilton winning the f1 championship on his first year, sacrificing up the double champ alonso and they lost alonso too
Raikkonen never heard his team, why in germany 2005 in hockenheim, Raikkonen pushing like mad when its 27 seconds ahead of F alonso, u would never see alonso doing that stupidity or even schumacher or even vettel, cuz they know the car isnt a piece of god, and it can broke anytime
well in low words if u put alonso in the maclaren 2005 alonso won the title, while raikkonen blowing up the renault engines, what i like from raikkonen is that he is just a good qualifyer, he likes uses his machine over than 100%, they shouldnt limited the f1 to 18.000 rpm.... its gay... now theres no true driver that who can calculate his engine to end a race or yes
@Achylles871 The team would calculate it and put the limiter anyway, then just put the limiter of when doing a qualify lap or overtaking or defending overtake
I dont mean Raikkonen Montoya and Massa are bad drivers, no they arent bad drivers, they are very good drivers, but theres a difference with very good drivers and talented drivers, Vettel, Schumacher, Alonso, Hamilton and Button are of other world. They have something special, its like Comparing Senna with Berger, Berger was a very good driver but not talented as Senna or mansell or prost or even nicky lauda was, if u put berger and senna on same cars{ wich happens} senna beat him with samesetup
@TheQneb and Ive been watching F1 since 1988, ive saved all races, qualifying and free practice, have 422 races all saved, and i dude if u saw f1 before 2005, f1 exist before raikkonen
And Mclaren engine blowed, if u put alonso or vettel or hamilton in those BMW or mclaren of 2003 and the mclaren in 2005 i bet they had won the title with 30 points or more, in 2007 raikkonen was very lucky, alonso and hamilton was fighting each other, and if alonso dont had hamilton on his team alonso had won the titles in 2007 and 2008 but it didnt happend. Raikkonen won the title very very lucky by 1 point and hamilton was his first year in F1 lol! with complete unexperience
@Achylles871 Raikkonen only lost the titles in 2003 and 2005 because of the McLaren's reliability. Changing the driver doesn't change the reliability of the car.
@blainyrules ofc if u push the car to engine limits on free practice theres no car reliability that can support 20.000 rpm all time freepractice + qualify + race, dont tell me is not driver fault......
@blainyrules and i forget to say, in the second part of 2005 and 2003 mclaren lost less engines, because raikkonen stopped doing qualify times on the free practices, alonso and schumacher always drove 2 seconds slower on free practice, i remenber in france 2005 on the 2 free practices he did 144 laps doing times of race and qualifying, and in third free practice he did a faster time than the qualify, then few laps later the engine blows, change engine and 10 pos lost, same on england and italy
@Achylles871 You do realise that the drivers just do what they're told, right? If Kimi was using the engine too much, it's only because McLaren told him to.
@Lolzilol123 It can be, but montoya had less engine problems than raikkonen, and raikkonen always love to use car at its rev limit, and its weird that in 2007 they solved the engine problems, with hamilton and alonso, they had other problems but not engine problems
@Achylles871 Montoya having less engine problems doesn't mean anything, it's just random. I doubt anyone on YouTube knows what Kimi "loves". In 2007 there was the engine freeze, and they limited them to 19,000 (they used up to 20,000 before) so that meant less stress on the engine.
Remenber mclaren MP420 best mclaren of all times, with such a powerfull hp and aerodinamic car raikkonen couldnt won the title, and dont tell me it wasnt driver mistakes, the engines him blow in pre qualifying i can count 4, england, france, san marino and italy, in nurburgrin he was leading the race and push the car to limits forcing brakes etc till crash last lap, and in hockenheim pushing the car on engine limits, after 12 laps raikkonen was 27 seconds ahead of alonso, 2,2 sec lap.
in 2003 montoya and his BMW also was a uber 1100 BHP car and the mclaren was both the best cars, schumacher won 6 races with a 8tenth slower ferrari, and won the title, in the end of season schumacher said "I dont had the best car, i just won the title thanks by rivals driver mistakes". That means Montoya and Raikkonen are very irregular drivers, they do good 1 race and then other race they suck balls, same with massa good 1 race and then other race bad
to mutch blabla and blablahhh here, i can say Raikkonen = Massa = Montoya, Despite that Massa was being better than raikkonen in 2009, but after the crash in spa 2008 raikkonen complety lost the enthusiasm of racing, that keept massa being the number first of ferrari till the almost fatal crash on hungary 2009. Raikkonen have 2 sub championship, having the best car of those 2 years in 2003 and 2005 and both lost by driver mistakes.
Mclaren was no slower than Ferrari in 2007. I have no ideo where you get that taught from, when Mclaren would've won the WCC that year without the DSQ. Mclaren clearly had better race-pace than Ferrari in Malaysia, Monaco, Canada, USA, Italy, China, Japan, and possibly Britain and Spain.
And let's not forget that thanks to Spygate, we can conclude that the Mclaren MP4-22 was a carbon copy of the Ferrari 07. :P
@MultiBikram - No you cannot conclude anything because of spygate. Yes mclaren would have won the wcc because they had superior drivers to ferrari. Massa is the same as he always was, he admitted he was 100% for the start of the 2010 season and topped a few winter testing sessions and looked fine. Well that is until Alonso kicked his ass, while Raikkonen could never do anything remotely similar against Massa which indicates to me than Kimi is nowhere near as good as people say he is.
Add to my previous comment, I don't remember Alonso or Hamilton having any misfortunes in 2007. I do remember a lot of mistakes though: Hamilton spinning in Germany, Alonso crashing in Fuji, Hamilton's pitlane entrance fail in China, Alonso's miserably race in Canada, Lewis running wide and goin in neutral in Brazil, etc. They're own mistakes cost them the WDC.
@MetaKnightsKirby strange how kimi can take 5 secs off in just 1 lap quite mind boggling speed. alonso got robbed in 07 aftermid seaosn mclaren favored hamilton
Mclaren not favored hamilton, Alonso was just skilless to take care of a big team like mclaren, Hamilton was just better than alonso, and team help the champions not the lucky champions one
Oh fuck it, why am I even argumenting with an ignorant portugese idiot. Portugal is such a fail in motorsports lolololol. Anyway, cut the shit and wait for the races, like i said best lap after 2 year break is totally awesome and I'll just wait to see how Räikkönen kicks some ass.

That was Kimi's only highlight of the race. Massa wiped the floor with him in bahrain, outqualifying Kimi with more fuel and comfortably winning the race.
@Anime998877 Yep, the Ferrari was a quicker car that day...I really dunno why Kimi has so many passionate fans, he's almost the guy who can do no wrong.
@nitroboost8765 - The ferrari was the quicker car for most of the season. It was only that Lewis was a far better driver than both Massa and Raikkonen that allowed him to have a shot at the title. In fact despite Mclaren being a good 2-3 tenths slower than the ferrari in 2008, Hamilton still scored almost as many pole positions as both ferrari drivers put together. That's how inept Raikkonen and Massa were in 2008 (raikkonen especially).
@Anime998877 Yep, and Raikkonen almost lost third in the World Championship to Kubica, in a far less impressive BMW Sauber...Yet, people only criticize Hamilton for his performance this season...Raikkonen binned his ride several times in 2008, almost all in avoidable circumstances.
Raikkonen scored 10 fastest laps in 2008. A record. He had 10 fastest laps in 2005 too. Schumacher only did it once in 2004, while having a totally dominant Ferrari.
Sorry, but after Schumacher's 71 fastest laps (7 time champion) Prost's 41 fastest laps (4 times champion) we get Kimi with 35 fastest laps (just 1 time champion).
Sorry, if only Schumacher and Prost are ahead you in the all time fastest lap chart, you're clearly really fast and special. End of story.
@AlexDeLarge90 - Fastest laps are largely pointless. Ayrton Senna, the greatest driver of all time is nowhere near the record fastest lap chart. Mark Webber owned Vettel in the fastest lap chart this season when it is largely obvious that Vettel completely slaughtered his team mate. Raikkonen may have an amount of the 3rd most fastest laps in history but he is never ranked even top 20 of the greatest of all time by professionals who are more qualified to judge him than you and I. End of story.
Well, he didn't match him in 2007, that despite having more experience with the team.
In 2008 the car didn't fit Kimi's style of driving. He frequently said he couldn't get a good balance of it. Despite that he banged in a record 10 fastest laps in that season (matching his 2005 record and Schumacher's single 2004 record with the same amoung of fastest laps in a single season).
Here's what everybody knows: Massa never really recovered from his serious crash.
@AlexDeLarge90 - He did match Kimi in 2007 actually. For most of 2007 Massa was the leading ferrari driver until his mechanical failure at monza, which put him virtually out of the championship and ferrari decided to favour kimi from then on. Even at the first part of 2008(kimi only started complaining in the 2nd half of the year) Massa still outqualified him numerous times and after 9 races they were level on points. Massa was just as good a driver as Raikkonen was
Some drivers loose all their speed after a serious crash. Many of them never reach the level they once had.
Johnny Herbert was seen as immensively fast and talented in 1989. Sadly a serious crash broke his legs. When he returned he was but a shadow of what he was before the crash.
Jean-Pierre Jaboille won two brilliant races for Renault and looked set for a bright future. Sadly he crashed, and when he returned in 1981 he was nowhere near what he used to be.
@AlexDeLarge90 - Some do. But some don't. Robert Kubica came back stronger than ever after his crash at Canada 2007. On the same year Rubens had a horrific crash at imola he got the first pole of his career. Now Massa came back to ferrari in bahrain 2010, he outqualified alonso by half a second and spent a large part of the race keeping up with him. After 3 rounds in 2010 Massa was leading the championship, Massa was fine. Alonso was just way better. Alonso > Massa = Raikkonen
4 wins in Spa-Francorchamps (and that would have been 5 straight wins if not for Hamilton's illegal overtaking maneuvre 3 laps from the finish, thereby gifting Massa a win he was nowhere near of winning on his own) speaks more than whatever else you judge Kimi by.
Jim Clark 4 straight wins in Spa (1962-1965). Ayrton Senna. 5 wins in Spa (4 in a row 1988-1991), Schumacher 6 wins in Spa (3 in a row). Raikkonen 4 wins in Spa (3 in a row, Hamilton prevented a 5 in a row)
@AlexDeLarge90 - Spa 2008 was Hamilton's victory, not Kimi's. Kimi raikkonen binned it into the wall a lap from the end. It was completely Raikkonen's fault he did not deserve to win the race. Hamilton deserved to and the penalty was complete bullcrap. By the way had Schumacher not been dsq in spa 94 and had coulthard not been a muppet in spa 98, Schumi would have 5 straight wins at spa 94-98 with 8 wins in total.
@nitroboost8765 - I don't care. I've dealt with it before. Kimi has so many fans and I don't know why. It makes no sense how a driver who won a lucky world championship and then was consistently beat by Massa afterwards can be so massively overrated. Keytek9 said himself that Massa sucks - if that's true then Raikkonen sucks as well. And if that causes the fangirls to cry then like I said - I don't care.
@Anime998877 cheers for your comment!hes a little bit overrated yeah, hes nothing more than a good driver, not really a remarkable one.and of course hes not in the top 20 ever!people only liked him because of his coldness;i hated him because of that.raikonnen is an arrogant bastard and i would really like to see him finishing races in 15th this season, while his team mate is scoring points
Räikkönen is statistically in top-20 f1 drivers of all time, and in the list of modern f1-drivers in top-10. And you aint got nothing to say about even the poorest of drivers, your fat ass wouldn't even fit on one of those cars. All of your arguments are totally ignorant, Räikkönen propably never finished and will finish below 15th without upset of balance by KERS in one season.
And I'd say that lapping the best time on practice runs after a 2 year break is pretty awesome
@koistinennnn - No I'm not an Alonso fan. Now consider this : without the mclaren civil war in 2007 one of the mclaren drivers would have won and kimi would never had had even half a chance. But most importantly ferrari was the best car in 2007 but Hamilton and Alonso led the championship the whole time until the last race. Kimi was literally trailing in their wake for most of the season(in the best car) until Massa let him through to win in brazil. How is Kimi Raikkonen so overrated?
Mclaren had the best car in 2007. Likewise, you are ignoring all the misfortunes Raikkonen had in 2007. His engine let him down in Spain (6 pts) and in Germany (6-8 pts). Kimi was the best driver of 2007, and that's the truth.
@MultiBikram - No ferrari had the best car in 2007 with more wins, poles, and fastest laps than mclaren and even Felipe Massa (who is getting annihilated by alonso currently at ferrari) won 4 races. I am aware Kimi had bad luck, but then again he had the best car and for most of the season was 17-20 points behind Hamilton. Kimi performed well but was not the best driver in 2007. The two mclaren drivers share that award for leading the championship for the longest time without the fastest car.
Massa hasn't been the same since Hungary 2009, and Germany 2010 screwed him up even more. Massa won 3 races ithat year, Raikkonen won 6 races compared to Hamilton's and Alonso's 4. So what's your point? It doesn't matter if he was 17-20 points behind mid-season. All what matters, is that he scored more points at the end. Kimi lost about 14 points due misfortunes. How reliable was the MP422? It never broke down! So yes, LH and FA have nobody to blaim but themselves for the WDC lose.
If it was Hamilton and Massa, the race would be over for them.

@Anime998877 Wow, you have some serious balls saying Raikkonen sucks...Brace yourself for the ensuing shit storm!
nitroboost8765 3 weeks ago
@nitroboost8765 - I don't care. I've dealt with it before. Kimi has so many fans and I don't know why. It makes no sense how a driver who won a lucky world championship and then was consistently beat by Massa afterwards can be so massively overrated. Keytek9 said himself that Massa sucks - if that's true then Raikkonen sucks as well. And if that causes the fangirls to cry then like I said - I don't care.

@Anime998877 Good on ya mate...I would never have the balls to say something of the sort, of fear of being mauled by his arrogant fangirls.

@Anime998877 LuCky championship for Räikkönen? How can you say that? You are Alonso fan right?
koistinennnn 3 weeks ago
@koistinennnn - No I'm not an Alonso fan. Now consider this : without the mclaren civil war in 2007 one of the mclaren drivers would have won and kimi would never had had even half a chance. But most importantly ferrari was the best car in 2007 but Hamilton and Alonso led the championship the whole time until the last race. Kimi was literally trailing in their wake for most of the season(in the best car) until Massa let him through to win in brazil. How is Kimi Raikkonen so overrated?
Anime998877 3 weeks ago
@Anime998877
Mclaren had the best car in 2007. Likewise, you are ignoring all the misfortunes Raikkonen had in 2007. His engine let him down in Spain (6 pts) and in Germany (6-8 pts). Kimi was the best driver of 2007, and that's the truth.
~ From a Schumacher fan.

Two great drivers!!
It reminds Massa's overtake on Hamilton in the start of Hungary 2008, when he started in 3th and Hamilton in 1st.
Love it!!!
