@Meyhemity I disagree, signing while speaking is detrimental to learning ASL syntax. Simply put, you speak English, you'll sign English. Also, work at keeping your elbow tucked in and your hand closer to your chest when fingerspelling, it will help keep your hand from floating around. Also, remember with fingerspelling, clarity is more important than speed, and you want to get in the habit of sounding out words instead of thinking letters. I'm an interpreting major myself. Just wanted to help.
If you are looking into furthering your ASL skills you should know that speaking while signing is a bad idea, so don't get into that habit. It is hard and confusing. But if you plan on signing an introduction at the beginning of your songs then some may want subtitles, not everyone knows ASL. I am so happy to see that you are learning such a beautiful and necessary language!!!
great job! I don't think you need to speak or add subtitles at all to your videos; if you do the introduction like you do in this one, and I see it in a lot of your other ones as well, it might be a good idea to translate it in the description part.
Could help those that are still learning, you know?
for just learning sign language i would say it was decent, i think a good musuic video to try would be "i want you to want me" check it out on youtube... so the first one with the girl standing infront of a white wall... its really fun... and check out jneiderer hes great too
good luck with your signing... btw where are you from?
I'm also learning to sign. I think your video was great! I saw two things... Try is made with a T hand shape, and when you tried to sign the word say, you signed the word speach. Say is one finger pointed twards your face and pulled out... Your from a different area than I am too though, so it may be a little different. You should keep making more of these though, cause I think your doing awsome!=D
Good job on signing I agree with mike78 I think a lot of people would like it if you spoke along with your signing just so they could see the words corresponding to each other but really great job. =D
Well, you could speak along with your signing if it is not a problem for you. You also can add subtitles if you don't want to speak and sign at the same time. But, I think it is fine that you use a description box on the right side to type lyrics/subtitles down instead on your video. It is up to you. Good job on signing!
yea you should speak lol

Hi.. enjoyed your song.
I think subtitles are too distracting, and speaking/singing combined with signing can distract from the rhythm of your signing.
But I guess however you are most comfortable, and yes! more facial expression would be lovely.
