The somewhat ironic part is that those cavemen would almost certainly have been unable to digest milk, seeing as adult humans only developed the ability to do that after agriculture came along...adults in some races can't even digest milk today.

Well, not drinking milk does have its benefits in this scenario:

one would be far too heavy for the Pterosaur to lift, thereby saving one from the reptiles in the sky.  But of course, theres the predatory dinosaurs all around you.

and they'd be pretty fast.
