  • Could have recorded this number, executed perfectly. This has a very hypnotic summer blues feeling to it.

  • How could anyone complain about her voice. I listened to 50 versions of "Baby wont you please come home", because NPR played that version, and I wanted to know where that voice was coming from. Her vocals are her. Nothing dramatic, true to key, honest in emotional convey, and far from overly standard or generic. I like it when class comes across, but does'nt sound like it comes from a retirement home. A new Classic

  • On Hulu people were complaining about her singing, seems it not perfect enough for them. I came to her defense.

Her singing style reminds me of Lou Reed's singing. And no one complains about his singing.

  • Amy is beautiful and I love her singing. I hope to see her live sometime. I hope she plays somewhere around Chicago soon

  • I love this song. It's good to know it's just as fantastic live :)

  • i heard that amy eats greyhound for breakfast.

  • just readin the comments here (no such thing as a violin in Nashville... it's a fiddle! )

just heard this lady on allmemphismusic. Awesome really

  • Just bought Anchors & Anvils CD. Love her style and will be going to her gig at Menai Bridge, Wales on 11th October. Sadly she likely won't have Bob Furgo with her, the gypsy violin (fiddle) really adds to sound on album.

  • Was at that gig in Menai Bridge. She was excellent and such a wonderful friendly person.Best 8 quid I,ve ever spent.Good luck Amy.Hope you have a great future.

  • Amy is so cool! and yes Bob Furgo Rules!

  • She is my cousin!!! I see every Christmas at our very small family reunion.

  • @Cannoli00 Lucky you.

  • Sweet sound, delightful lyrics!

  • Awsome talent, she kinda looks like Dorothy from the wizard of oz at certain angles in this video. I really like "That Beat" too.

  • i've heard alot of musicians and she's the real deal. you're going to hear alot more from her and about her in the near future.

  • Bob Furgo rules!

  • Who's Bob Furgo? Is he the guy playing the Violin in this video clip?

  • Yeah, the violin player. He was also Leonard Cohen's guy.

  • there is no such thing as a violin in Nashville... it's a fiddle! ;-)-|-<

  • Great!

  • she's alright. i am gettin a bit tired of all these singers these days with the little girlie voices though. tryin to cop julie miller who is the queen of that but julie's got sooo much weight behind it and i believe her.

  • She's the real thing, and she is kind to animals, so lay off my friend.

  • Buy whatever you want asshole, I don't support the Iraq war and I don't support anyone who performs where animals are tortured. By the way, Tony Blair made a mess too, plank. Fuck You.

  • Just found out she's performed at Greyhound Racetracks, which are barbaric. Sorry, you just lost a fan.

  • How strange ,so i shouldn't buy anything American because of the complete mess you lot made in Iraq ,im sure shes not pro Greyhound racing just a brilliant musician you plank !

  • I was there...about 5 feet from her with nobody between us. Flippin awesome show! Excellent band!

  • Tremendous song, this. I, by the way, have both of Amy's CD's and wow, she's the queen of the doghouse bass!!

  • Great song, I can't get it out of my head now!

  • EXCELLENT. LOVE C55

  • I JUST LOVE THIS.
