no doubt that the seven people that dislike this great interpretation by Master Sinatra are Justin Bieber fans, in a few short years that Bum Rat Bieber will fade into obscurity...while Frank Sinatra's voice and music will echo throughout eternity...
I will not sing this song haha BECAUSE im going to make all the "moves" to Her and i will not waste my time doing nothing! But this is a very very very good song! :D
This an original French song (Laisse Mo Le Temps) sing by Romuald song that participate in 1973 Vina Del Mar Festival in Chile and won the second place. Then Paul Anka bought the rights and wrote the English version to Mr:Sinatra.
Some of the most unpleasant memories of my youth--1954 to 1980--involve a huge number of novelty songs that were absolutely horrible. One of the worst was a rendition of this song by a fool who had absolutely no singing voice at all; I now hear it as it was supposed to be sung, and I'm absolutely speechless at the difference between an idiot with no voice and one of the great voices of all time.
ESTA CANCIÓN ORIGINALMENTE SE LLAMABA "LAISSEZ MOI LE TEMP", SUS AUTORES ERAN JOURDAN Y CARAVELLI, FUE CANTADA POR ROMUALD Y REPRESENTARON A FRANCA EN EL FESTIVAL DE VIÑA DEL MAR 1973 (FEBRERO), OBTENIENDO EL 2 º LUGAR DE LA COMPETENCIA INTERNACIONAL.
POSTERIORMENTE JOURDAN VENDIO SUS DERECHOS DE COAUTOR A PAUL ANKA, QUIEN EFECTUÓ LOS ARREGLOS MUSICALES QUE ESCUCHAMOS AHORA Y SE LA ENTREGO A FRANK SINATRA PARA QUE LA GRABARA EL 21JUNIO DE 1973 CON EL TITULO DE "LET MY TRY AGAIN"
The original name of this song is "Laisse-moi le temps" by the composers Michel Jourdan and J-C. Caravelli. This song participated in the Festival Internacional de la Cancion de Vina del Mar, in Chile, in the year 1973. The same year Paul Anka put the english words to it and gave the song to Frank Sinatra who made it famous all over the world.
What a song! The real meaning of love is right here in this song. I first heard it in Malaysia on the radio in 1974. Bought a fanfare hit parade album of 1974 and had this song on it. Played it over and over again on the turntable. It's 2011 now and this song is good as gold now as it was then. I still have the lp record. What a classic song. I rate this song 10 out of 10.
the first time i heard this song i was 23. i loved it then and i still love it now 36 years later. there is a word for songs that stay popular for a long time - they call them CLASSICS
not a great song?? good lord check your hearing this is a classic with only My Way or Very Good Year surpassing it. This was Sinatra at his very best folkds.
@ruedydude Sinatra at his very best was I've Got You Under My Skin and Angel Eyes. This is an overblown and bombastic tune from a mediocre album (as a comeback it's a real dud).
high school years what a monster song.....ol blue eyes is back....my sisters wonder how come i listen to mr.frank sinatra while doing my homework....i just smiled back at my sisters....

La canzone originaria non é di Paul Anka, ma lui ha tradotto una canzone di un francese di cui non so il nome...
