well, I couldn't get the darm thing started after sitting over the winter. Probably a combination of dirty points (remember them?) crusty distributor cap and a buildup of crud in the carb! We had no hugely-urgent need for the tractor, so it was just lucky that Richard came for a visit and is a recreational mechanic.
