Yea this tweak is old, I had it on day one, surprised someone finally made a video since it was already out for about a month, it makes challenging games boring like blood and Florey so don't do it to the point the game has no more meaning

I have a credit card hooked up and it doesn't charge me. When you try to purchase something in game it will usually ask for your password for itunes to confirm the purchase. Although if you are still unsure. The best way to check is to use the ap cracker and make a very small in game purchase in one of the apps that it works with. Than fire up itunes on your PC and check to see if you can find the purchase within your purchase history. That's what I did! :)
