I heard this version before Thomas Dolby's 25 years ago, and, like annakara, I've been looking for it ever since. Thanks for posting.

the changes are more abrupt in this version, as most of the stewart/gaskin songs do it. I like bot hversions equal. dolby's version is more softly floating like an ufo, but this has more shine and is transporting the melody more powerful.

Last I heard Dave Stewart (about 2002) had moved into Buddhisty material. Anyone know what he's doing now?
