Man, I am so surprised and very pleased that the anime Princess TuTu has such amazing music like this for the soundtrack. I don't think that any deep moments or instensifying moments iin Princess TuTu would've gotten across very well without music like this to emphasize the drama of certain scenes.

I love that they played every time there was a scene between the Raven and his daughter Princess Rue. It made the Raven seem all the more dark, cruel and menacing than he already was.

Very good performance! It's hard to believe Mussorgsky wrote this piece for a piano. However, it is arguably better as a orchestral performance. Be sure to check out Jean Guillou's pipe organ performance as well. It captures the FULL power of a pipe organ, so take great care in listening.

every time i listen to, or, watch a performance, it takes me back to, rca's intro to their " new orthophonic " release in the 50's w/ " arturo " at his, white-hot-best; but this version is a good study of what a conductor doe's to infuse his own-passion across to his players & associates,, nice job !!
