if Rude was'nt becoming such a huge draw, and especially in his return from his succesful WWF (aka the "minors") run, he was a huge draw!! when Watts left, Eric Bischoff rode Rude until he could'nt any more and made a killing!! Rude was a huge draw and always in the title scene..plus Manny stopped working out, and the burritos took over immediatel! so splitting up the team after that sick run they had, was a no brainer for the NWA. Plus fernandez contract was up, and he dipped to the AWA in 88

My favorite aspect w/ Rude & Fernandez was that they would demolish their opponents, usually jobbers, in seconds. It'd usually follow this formula: 1) Their entrance song (Queen's "We Will Rock You," IIRC) starts 2) Rude & Fernandez rush to the ring 3) The jobbers are quickly disposed of and pinned, while the entrance theme was still playing.

Rude & Fernandez usually went straight for their respective finishers and barely broke a sweat in doing any wrestling maneuvers.

Yes, Rude went to the WWF and joined the Heenan Family soon afterwards. In fact, Paul Orndorff was so mad that Orndorff fired Bobby Heenan. He couldn't stand having someone with a body just as good as his in the family.
