this wasnt my favorite sit-com, but it was still pretty good, it wasnt as good as the cosby show, or family matters, or fresh prince of bel-air or full house. seasons 1-7 were my fav, i didnt like season 8 or 9

Anything was better than fucking Family Matters or Full House. Fresh Prince was very good and Cosby Show was ok. Roseanne was better than any of those shows.

Full House and Family Matters were 2 of the most popular family shows EVER

and let's not forget about Happy Days and Step By Step, they were awesome as well

I also like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and The Cosby Show was good as well and I also like The Andy Griffith Show (except for the colored episodes)

But I agree, Roseanne was NOT better than the other shows, IMO

They used both Lecy Goranson and Sarah Chalke in the opening credits because both actresses shared the role in the eighth season; However, Goranson was shown more on screen, they would make random jokes as to which who was playing Becky at that time. Goranson was credited in the opening sequence because she had more screen time then Sarah did.

In my opinion, Season 8 of this show had the best opening intro sequence; the end is a "little bit" creepy though, if you know what I mean.

it was because Season 8 was supposed to be the last season and it got renewed at the last minute and she decided not to be on Season 9. besides becky was only in like 2 episodes of season 9 with a speaking role w/e anyway

Me and my brother would watch this from 1988-1996, I couldn't watch it in 1997 because I graduated and I went to college so it was a lot of work and i didnt have any time i now have all of the seasons - 1-9. 1988-1997.

I LOVE that for Becky they went to a totally diff person(Becky#2). And yes,although they ended up alternating, having Lacey back was great. IN fact,the original promo for the premiere was "The original Becky's Back!"
