i think akito is just misunderstood. she's lonely, and is only like that because her father died.. right? i always thought she was just a stupid character and that i hated her, but the more i started to know about her, the more i actually grew to like her a lot. by the way, this amv is amazing. =)

she let Tohru stay because of a bet between Ren and herself, which was holding onto the members of the zodiac. Tohru in the picture was a challenge to Akito's hold, and then Akito wouldn't be able to get rid of her later when everyone loved her.

honestly, I have no idea what Natsuki Takaya was thinking when she made Akito, but surprisingly, all of the weird gender drama works really well for Akito. the manga is so worth reading though, even without the Akito angst. I hope you enjoy it :)

as for her childhood she lived a happy life for quite a while until one day her parents disown her and kick her out saying she can never return as her parents don't know how to love her anymore. and stuff
