this is a really nice song to listen to man. i clicked this to just see what the spectralis was all about, started bobbing my head, opened a new tab, and when it ended i was all like "man i need to listen to that again." good show.
imo, don't even mess with pro-tools...just record that straight to tape in Garage Band, leave -3db headroom, and send to the best mastering studio you can afford/trust. The Speckie in the right hands is a lot more capable and clean sounding than a DAW nine times out of ten. The VCA stage on it is superlative.
Dood, amazing work and nice patience and musicality through and through. Keep posting!
BTW, what did you record into while we're "on the topic"?
i just recorded into my macs soundcard directly from the speckie. I think i recorded to the video software directly :P
i had done some nice patterns, the previous day, and just felt like recording an improvised performance. Had it been planned and the darkish screaming bassline would come 16 bars earlier :)
btw, please check my guitar video, a cover for explosions in the sky. Also direct input into my mac, and an amplitube vst on top (rev+del) :)
@nunomesquitapt Hey, No lying, I was playing a 2562 tune on my computer, and my friend who was using another computer was checking your vid and by chance they were both in the mix. It sounded really cool, so could I get an Mp3 too please.
If this is just you faffing about with some patterns, on a groovebox, you really need to get yourself into a proper studio, track that shit into Protools or something, add some mastering fx, some reverb, and get that shit released!
Really talented man...you definitely have a lot of potential.
thanks a lot for your support :) it was done by playing some of my patterns in real time, it´s the only time i´ve actually played this song :) anyways, i still have the patterns, so maybe i´ll do it again or just extract the audio from the original video ;) where can i put it for you ?
Hi! Well, the machine doesn´t sample by itself, but you can put samples, and soundfonts into the memory cards, or pass them using the in-built USB port. Its has much control, from multi mode filters, to LFO´s, envelopes, oscillators, sample start time, etc. It has a synth-like signal path, starting with regular user samples. It´s an amazing machine :)
PERO QUE MIERDA ES ESTA???????

Even on YouTube, that bass has some proper wobble. Cheers for the demo.

I was wondering if the sampling section of the machine is good. I don't see many demos using this aspect of the spectralis.
