  • nice video

  • Anyone else yelling FINISH HIM! at the end of each takedown? No? Just me?

  • So it is a combination of techniques of aikijutsu and japanese jujustu? But very good demo:D keep it up!

  • @reyedk can you tell me what is the difference between aikijujutsu and aikijitsu? Are they the same thing different i don't understand translate please. Thank you.

  • @resurectedfire I'm sending you a complete explanation on your email.

  • @resurectedfire could you send me what he sent you if you wouldn't care to?

  • Too compliant to be helpful.

  • @nomamao It's just a video with some techniques man!

  • fantastic training. great work using street clothes and working outside. very nice

  • good selfdefense..keep it up...!!

  • bien!

  • Wow u are really good!

Now i am fascinated by this, my compliments.

But be careful please on a knife, i am scared all the time i see a disarming knife video.

Again my compliments, greate performance, very nice video!

  • What the fuck is this stupid music?

  • What school of Aikijutsu is this?

  • i like your far more realistic self-defense/1step choreography here. It is far more realistic and possibly less choreographed than the typical prepare, kiyop ready and finish way seen in TKD and other arts.

  • are these improvised techniques?

  • 0:47 is awesome when he can't get the leg and punches the hands.. Never thought of that.. :) getting punched in the back of the hand hurts.. lol..

  • Decent selfdefence. I have trained aki and self defence for 8 years now and thats more self defence technique. aki is much more controled but technique was still decent. I would say work on your counter attacks, your punches seem very flaily and uncontrolled. but definately not bad selfdefence.

  • powerful arranged aikido

  • very effective, realistic and clever!!!

  • LMAO This is this first video I saw in 1911 mode, pretty funny. Good techniqes in the video also

  • thats awesome mate, keep on throwing brother.

  • that was excellent. very realisric

  • Is AikiJujitsu the best Martial Arts for everyday "street fight" situations? er.. Self Defense. I should say.

  • @RIVOTHEAD13 Any of the arts will work as long as you train hard and consistently. After about 3-4 years your body will react automatically to any threat. After 5-6 years your intuition will warn you, and you will avoid the potential danger zone.

In the few episodes that i have had "on the street " the techniques i used were bastardizations of what i had learnt. The best technique however is to walk away or avoid, and that is easier to do the more you have trained.

  • that was fun...thanks for the vid

  • i'll be surprised if the guy had his arm at the end of the day!

  • wow brother you have it down. Very impresive. I also studied akijutsu for a few years, recognized about half of the stuff you did. It was good to see it at that speed.

  • This looks like modern Ju Jutsu. I think Ive done all these techniques in Ju Jutsu Class when I was younger.

  • @gdzdhfdhd of course i train aikido

  • Check out KAPAP its like the modern jujitsu, as in its very applicible to modern day problems

  • @gdzdhfdhd yes, aikido is a derrivative (sp) of aikijitsu. Aikido has taken some of the more 'lethal' techniques out, preferring to inflict only transient/short term pain

  • Dude yes! YES!!

lol I actually dont know if this one is right for me, I'm looking for something in self defense but in a non violent way. i would rather use violence as a last resort

  • tapi tetep aja harus belajar teknik dasarnya

  • Thinking about picking up some martial arts.

Maybe your video just helped me decide a bit.

    Looks impressive.

  • Oh poor guy... even if this just a demonstration, he sure gets knocked down too many times... LOL.

    GREAT ONE THOUGH! ^^

  • Good!

  • Well done lads good to see this shown on ground, the lad will have a few bruises slapping the floor

  • Gostei desse! Se aproxima mais de situações reais, onde mesmo com domínio da técnica nem tudo sai perfeitamente "redondo". Muito bom!

  • Finally, someone who does it right.

  • ive watched thousands of aiki clips on you tube and this is the first one i have found thats really good and showcases the true art of aikijutsu great job guys, and can i ask who your sensei is please

  • great video, what's the name of the song?

  • Very nice. We like to do this every Friday night at my school with multiple attackers. It is always extrmemly helpful. My students love it.

  • Quality vid - thanks for posting!

  • Damn hoodies! :)

I would only say that the best way to finish things off is the run the hell out of there. You don't know if the guy has friends hanging around the corner waiting to get in on the action.

  • Good stuff, but two notes: 1) don't "hold" them in a lock, move past there joints tolerance and break/hyper-extend/dislocate the joint. (2 Once the hitting starts, don't stop until he can't move.

  • @Altonahk Yeah but this is a demo isnt it, probs the guy is his friend, so im betting he doesnt wanna inflict real injury...just sayin' ;)

  • @JumpstyleFreakUp What I meant was how he kept moving from one hold to a better, with his goal being to put him in a lock on the ground. He could have just stopped with the first lock and been done then and there.

  • Nice. This is street AikiJutsu. I train Aiki and I find it very interesting and fun to learn. AikiJutsu is the tradition samurai martial art.

  • cette vidéo donner la bonne image de l'aikijutsu ..pas ou pas celle ou il fait ca main comme une coteau hh

  • Love the speed of the knife defense demonstration. Many people who demonstrate it always do it so slow that it really doesn't seem effective. Although really enjoyed the different variations of techniques for the same scenario if one or the other is not available to you.

  • Very nice concepts. Keep up the work.

  • nice skills

  • wow dude!

  • very nice!

  • True Kempo in it's origins does come from China. Although Kenpo is american being as how it infused Japanese, Chinese, and distinctly American Ideas and styles of fighting. Also, true there is no " Textbook " response in a street fight. The technique i was referring to though is actually in a textbook. From start to finish. It's performed exactly as it's written. Aikijustu is a Japanese martial art. Not Chinese. So Kempos origins in China, not Kenpo's, have no bearing on my previous statement.

  • this is aikijutsu not aikodo

  • What do you mean by "real" Aikido techniques?

  • nice

  • This is Aiki in reality, not clinically. All the principles of triangulation, back presssure, and blending are there. If you have never used Aiki in the real world, you cant appreciate this video. Great work protraying what Aikijutsu looks like outside of the dojo. BTW, this is not Aikido, or Aiki Jujitsu, there is a difference in all three. Do some reasearce people.

  • 0:28 Is a textbook American Kenpo technique called " Grip of Death ", not Aikijutsu in anyway. Yellow belt material ...

  • 0:28 Is a textbook Kenpo technique called " Grip of Death ". Yellow belt material ....

  • nice. who taught you? you pretty good. thank you for sharing your knowledge.

  • Très réaliste, bien fait , j'attends avec impatience une autre vidéo. C'est de l'Aikijustu KONDO style ? On peut s'entrainer à Genève ?

  • very impressive !!!

  • great movie! you are really good at what you're doing!

  • others have said it before me : this is not aikijitsu.

simply because the aiki principle is not succesfully being achieved.

the techniques are aiki techniques, but performed in this way it is more accurate to call it ju-jitsu.

  • I know little of this system but this looks very impressive

  • It look a lot like krav maga, in the set up and execution of techniques, but then again. . . from what arts to they draw knowledge? I agree with rwaggs, in regards to atemi. I would say that it does look like aikijutsu, but sped up and not in a static environment. I've been studying for a couple years, and I bounce. Things work a little differently on the street. Good practical looking representation.

  • To whomever posted this video, where do you train? I study the same art, though we spell it Aikijutsu. I really like your video's realism as opposed to a lot of the static attack "go with it" crap that I see on youtube. Would be fun to study together sometime.

  • Thank you for a very nice post, please do more if you have them.

  • Looks very realistic, I like

  • Good stuff!

Out of curiosity, what is your lineage of aikijitsu?

In any case, hope you make more videos.

  • Neat video. I like those that show application and you managed to stage realism pretty well (I thought). Good speed, too.

  • atlast! realistic techics!:P

    well done!!!

  • pas mal ^^

  • blind folded dude focus on the technique, very sloppy

  • O cara luta muito !

    BeLo ViDeO. =D

  • Looks grate ;)

I train at aikido and avery friday i have lessons at Aikijutsu as well ;)

I can say that im happy that i have a chance to learn this... ;)

  • hey man i am learning aikijutsu soon do you enjoy it?

  • Aikijutsu is the most interesting martial art i have seen, searching something more complicated and interesting then box? then go aikijitsu, it has punches kicks elbows and knees, throws and locks, some people even teach ground work and so on. I really enjoy aikijitsu, if you like martial arts you have to try aikijitsu, as i have impression that aikijitsu is everything ;)

aikijitsu as it is a bit more complicated then aikido :) at least for me :)

  • aikijujutsu has nothing to do with punches kicks block or knees. Its from a samurai art coined by Takeda Sokaku. Samurai had no need for punches kicks and blocks they had a sword. If your art is not from Daito Ryu it is not Aiki jujutsu. (not jujitsu or jui jitsu)

  • I wont argue with you, but i know what i am doing ^^

maybe i can suggest some more research for you ^^

  • what you are doing looks great :) and effective. but not aiki jujutsu.

  • If Yukka Helmiken from finland calls it AIkijujutsu, then i say i train at aikijujutsu :P

  • Itsumomanabu, a lot of arts hybridize over time. My Aikijutsu dojo draws lineage from Takeda and still practices atemi. We don't live in an era where people carry katanas around, and if you try and subdue the wrong opponent without striking you might find that you wish you had one. So, if this isn't some form of Aikijutsu, what then would you label it?

  • I feel that when you start adding or taking away from an art you are changing the art. This can confuse new students and give them the wrong impression of the art. Each art is different and beautiful unto itself. It is like taking ballet and hiphop dance and mixing them it is no longer pure ballet. If you study budo history the founder of the art should call it something else when mixed with other systems. out of respect and not to confuse. What this video is is Yoseikan. Nice technique.

  • Check out Lou Ferrer, Aikijitsu. 100% Art of Lighting- Inabikari-Ryu... my professor & mentor. Hope you enjoy.

  • Sokaku believed aiki was the pinnacle and very essence of the tradition that he taught, and whether he created aiki himself or just developed it to the next level, he certainly defined it as we now know it.And so I think it's probably safe to say that if it can't be traced directly to Sokaku Takeda through one of his senior students then it's probably safe to say it's not authentic aikijujutsu. Tracing an art through Morihei Ueshiba's Aikido is respectable, but it does not qualify as aikijujutsu

  • well said itsumomanabu

  • Thanx for ur comments and have fun training :)

  • @kessedy me to im 6. kyu ... thats white belt if you dont know

  • @kessedy i practise jiujitsu and i'm also happy to learn that

  • Bonne technique ma salope !

De mieux en mieux et bien réaliste,

    Prochaine vidéo avec des ralentis.

    aiiite :)

  • Nice control of your foot work. Good power and control of your opponent. I like the area your fighting in good choice. 5 stars

  • Thank U for your constructive comment sir.

  • good job guy!!!!

    Best regards

  • Thank U very much sir.

  • not bad....

  • thanks for shared! but this jui-jutsu?

  • U could say that...Our style is called Aikijitsu but is very similar to Japanese Ju-jitsu.

  • Aikido, Aiki-Jutsu and Aikido are the same family of techniques applied at a different timming and distance of the attack. That is way you will see large similarities between them.

  • Very good street fight applications. Thanks for sharing.

  • dla balle,bruce rey,ou jet reou terminarey...

    stay up

  • some of the best Aikijitsu ive seen. big upps to you.

  • Thank you very much
