So interesting. Actually they still use this type of cast in the states. The fiberglass is quick and easier to apply but the orthopedic people I guess still prefer this calcium method.

Fell down in the street? I won't ask what the heck you were doing. Did you fall into one of the "ditches" you were showing us on the walking vlog? Hope you feel better soon. Wow, fun cast instructions. Let me say, when I fell from the ladder in 2008, they used a fiberglass casting material that was heated in oil that they forgot to cool or dry off before they applied it directly to my leg, blistering me bad. What they did (the cast) with you was a good thing. Be careful Tonya.

When you get back to the States have an MRI done immediately to assess the damage and make sure you treat it right away. I have a bad ankle myself and I put off treatment for a long time which just made things worse.

wow... glad to see your doing okay, my sis broke her ankle last year she is still recovering to walk as she use too, so thank God it wasn't worse than it was. She was in a hard fibre glass cast for 6 months , you'll be ok Tonya stay safe

I've been dealing with this injury & I've been very upset. So I dressed up in yellow to cheer myself up, and I rolled my hair in bantu knots. I could have really used a friend. Hey, sorry you got injured on vacation. Nice you could find a medical professional when the other place was closed there. The word you were thinking of. It's called pronating. That is putting your weight on one side of your foot while you walk. She was worried more about your ankle. Hope you had fun anyway.

This video is a few days old, this happened right after the last video & I've been consumed with this injury, trying to get better and trying to deal with not being able to have unrestricted mobility in a foreign country, where I've had to change hotels twice. Tings have been quite tough. Trust me. It was a feat to get THIS uploaded, havent you noticed for 2 days it had NO TITLE? lol

@brain96969 Well it actually became great luck. The doctor who cast my leg is a here for an orthopedic convention/ traveling doctor group... but she's actually involved in a NEW specialty of hair restoration science. And because she came to look after my leg I found out about her new technique and was able to interview her. Im here doing research on hair-growth and this injury made us cross paths.

All in all it was GREAT Luck!
