That little hole in the back of the boat under the outboard is where the funny looking little rubber plug goes. If you install it while doing your pre check at the house before you go out you will never have that problem. You did do a pre check right?

sorry about the sinking, but that was a entertaining 10 min, i will not say anything bad, as i too have a boat, im guilty of forgetting the bilge plug on 2 separate boats, neither sank but i did have the embarrassment of no less then 10 fishermen NOT saying anything because they all will be launching boats, but watching as i hurriedly turned around not 15ft from the dock, run up the gangway to my truck, cut off some one preparing to launch, just to get my boat on the trailer in time.

The motor was completely under water. These Guys had no idea what in the world happened.
