is it safe to use higher weight oil than 5wt suspension oil. will the damper safely support higher wt suspension oil

after i have changed the oil on my totem mission control i find when i test the hydraulic damper shaft for movement it extend nearly fully but stop about an inch for full extension but before it extended all the way out.

what could be wrong when my low speed compression can't move? only 2 mm , I'm afraid to do it with more force...how can I repare it? Thanks.

is it safe to use different oil wt? would 2.5w be safe for the damper. MY main concenr would be using higher wt oil as this could maybe damage the damper. but i guess lower wt oil wqould be safe.

im pretty sure the totem lower leg removal is the same as the other fork video lower leg removal guide on here. i am gonna try using 2.5wt suspension oil instead of 5w and see how it is

I also have that clicking problem. Anyone know how to fix it? Also where would i get those o rings that i need to replace when sevrvicing the damper?

i hear a clicking sound in the first 10-20mm of travel, like something is loose in the fork, did you get it sorted? i only had the forks 2 days ago so dont know much about them.
