Oh, I forgot to mention. It has been shown that matter does actually create itself. All you have to do is read up on quantum physics. If you choose not to it's not my fault that you don't understand. However, it isn't 100% infallable, but as I said earlier, that doesn't exist so you might want to reword your questions.
These questions have always confused me. Congratulations, you have come up with some questions that cannot be answered. My question to you is: why does it matter? You seem to think that not knowing is some horrible thing that will cause people to suddenly give up on what we know to be true because there are things that we can only speculate about. Why do so many people not realize that it doesn't matter. Also, there is no such thing as 100% proof. That's why science is maliable, it accepts that.
Anyone that is 100% convinced there isn't a god has deigned himself to BE god, since he has the answers to everything. And that's almost as dangerous as religion.
7: I'm not a biologist so I can't do that. Nobody can give you 100 % proofs but I'm sure there are some clever biologists out there that can give you the 99.99999... % valid experimental results. But signs of evolution are everywhere and you'd have to be blind to not see them.
There, filled in your comment section with answers to your questions. Stupid 500 character limit...
Believing the Bible is just plain silly. It states that the Earth is flat. Everyone who has been into space knows this isn't true. That's one example of many.
All of science is based on assumptions. But at least it is based on verifiable assumptions and repeatable experiments and not on a 2000 year old fairy tale book, full of untrue facts.
6A: To some extent. If I bring two charges next to each other I can predict how they will interact. But I can't predict the future of all particles in the universe since calculating that would require more matter than there is in the universe.
6A-A and B: Science is able to predict the future because of our observations. We make laws that make sense and that predict the behaviour of particles. That's how we predict the future with our five senses.
6 (cont): Each time science discovers something, it explains a phenomenon that people used to explain with a theistic theory. You are now doing the same: using the big bang as evidence for the existence of god (as people used to do with lightning and such) because we don't understand it yet. But as soon as science will be able to explain it you will either close your eyes for the explanation, shout it is wrong because it isn't 100 % or just find something else we don't understand yet.
6: There are lots of unknowns yet to be solved (aka "my future job"). These unknowns do not mean that god did it. People used to explain things they don't understand with a theistic explanation (for example lightning). Now we know lightning is just an electrostatic discharge. Perfectly explainable. The unknowns of these days are in particle physics and astronomy. But explaining strange occurences by a god would be making the same mistakes as our ancestors.
5: The beginning of my theory can't be proven? Did you assume I couldn't provide any prove for the big bang? Naughty. You can be fairly certain the big bang has occured. It just takes me a few more years of education before I can show you better proof. I expect people to believe in the BB because it is the logical conclusion of our valid observations.
So you don't take anything from science if it's proof is not 100 % valid but yet you want to believe in the very unprobable existence of a god?
4A: depends on the movie. In my opinion this is a bad analogy. Math is the only science with 100 % true proofs. All other sciences work with assumptions, but they are very probable (as in 99.99999... %). For example we are 99.9 % sure the Higgs boson exists but yet physicists don't want to annouce its discovery until we are 99.99999... % sure. (No numbers are exact, only an example from the top of my mind). Your statement that if something isn't 100 % true then it isn't science is false.
3B-A and B: We don't try to repeat the big bang so no one knows that answer. But if you see for example that the universe is expanding it is very likely it started at 'point zero' with a bang.
4: That is not how math works. How would you be able to start solving an equation in the middle of the solving process? Either someone has made the first part of the solution or you have to make an assumption that is likely to be false. In the latter case your outcome will indeed be based on an assumption.
3A-B: No one was there at that point but evidence of this is observable everywhere in the universe.
3A-C: I'm no expert at this but talk to an astronomer. I can think of that there is background radiation and the fact that the universe is expanding so if you reverse this process there has existed a point in spacetime where everything started.
3B: not sure if I understood this. Do you mean repeating the Big Bang?
3: "Do you believe a mass of matter and energy rotated until it exploded?" This question does not make sense at all... mass is a property of matter and not of energy. Does this question refer to the big bang? If so, there is no such thing as "until" it exploded.
3A: That can't be true.
3A-A: We know that the universe started with a big bang but we don't know what happpened exactly since outside the universe there is no space or time.
1A-A: "can energy create itself?" Of course not, according to the first law of thermodynamics.
2: "Has matter always existed?" The same answer applies as to question 1 since energy and matter are related.
2A: matter can create itself out of energy and vice versa, but no matter or energy can suddenly appear out of nothing.
2A-A: matter gets transferred into energy in for example nuclear reactions. This energy, in the form of other elementar particles, can form new matter.
I don't know if I should be replying to this since I'm only an undergraduate physics student so I might not have understood everything but here goes.
1: "Do you believe energy has always existed?" This is a tricky question since no definition of "always" is given. We can be fairly sure that energy has existed from the Big Bang until now, and as time was created with the Big Bang there is no such thing as "before" the BB.
1A: See above, and also energy can not exist without matter as E=mc²
It's so ironic that someone asking for 100% infallible, non-opinionated, empirical proof to disproof an absolute fairy tale! You people are delusional...
What a fucking retard. You need an education Sir. The sad thing is videos from experts cover your questions and are available right here on YouTube if you looked. But some of your questions are just plain fucking stupid.
So I guess when you ask a theist those question his answer is always going to be GOD DID IT!!! Wow yeah shame on me for not believing in your sky daddy.
@luciferous66 "faith causes actual scientifically proven Brain Damage" There is actually no correlation between someone's scientific abilities and their faith. "stop relying on faith which actually makes you a fool" Well that is a highly opinionated statement. The problem is, many people on youtube pretend like they are scientists. Most don't understand even the basics principals. They regurgitate scientific information that they themselves don't understand, while calling others ignorant.
How about, I don't know, so wait until someone who understand physics better than a bunch of teenagers and 20-somethings can help explain it to us.
If the universe was once very small, as the expansion evidence suggests, then it would follow similar laws to electrons and subatomic particles, which spontaneously, of their own accord, pop into existence.
High school education generally doesn't explain the nuances of quantum mechanics, and shouldn't be used as a basis.
I looked at all the questions and nobody answers his questions, you atheists run off at the mouth, talk shit about christians, pose other questions, all while not addressing the questions he asked, why is that, just answer his questions since you are the masters of logic and rational thinking, I thought you haters were badass atheists, guess not
Ha physics 101 blah blah you guys don't know shiat either the big bang theory is all I hear about still today and im a 4.0 student, that's the problem with you arrogant so called intellectuals, your the smartest ever and we are scared in a cave stupid sheep herding christians, how about post a comment answering his questions, and ill wait, please post so you can enlighten us on the answers to the questions he ask
The Big Bang is now seen as a redundant scientific belief. Try looking up string theory. I'd like to see some proof for God existing. You know "100%, infallible, non-opinionated, empirical proof". No-one can, that's why people are still arguing.
@HobbsO The big bang theory is neither a scientific "belief" nor redundant. Conventional string theory is the one which is redundant. M theory and LQG neither validates nor invalidates the big bang theory.
@Aviatorsmith The Big Bang theory the way he's describing it is very redundant. M theory is just an extension on string theory so yer. Loop quantum gravity theory on the other hand has a few holes of it's own. I was trying to keep it simple for stupid ^
You ask for 100%, infallible, non-opinionated, empirical proof for scientific theories (which is basically impossible to provide). The same scientific theories which you use every day of your life, but require none for your religious beliefs, which you use to decide how to live your life. Double-standard much?
@sleazybtd Religion isnt Science, It called Belief System for a reason. If it wasn't belief then we would probably have only one religion or non at all.
Yes. The tree can fall without someone observing it. I just see the tree lying. These videos proof only one thing: degeneration in the USA speeds up. Keep deterioating, you already forgot about everything you should have learned in physics 101.
@AetheismRules So you're saying matter is the same as God? What kinda of stupid sh#t is that? God is,he doesn't exist he transcends existence ,just as the one
microsecond of awareness you have when you pick up an old lady who's fallen in the street and she says "thank you",transcends all the laws of physics ,entropy, logic and
oscillates past negative entropy to a state of Divinity. That microsecond of thought isn't proveable and isn't of this Universe.
Good questions; a study of scientific METHOD will help you understand why , even if science had NO CLUES WHATSOEVER , it would be STILL BE irrational to believe in a god.
If you study science itself, it will help you understand the ANSWERS to your questions. I recommend a study of quantum mechanics, general relativity and thermodynamics.
Review the Chalmers experiment for evidence. Good stuff - you can now tell your friends that there is STILL no rational reason to believe in a god !
Why do african-americans defend the religion that was shoved down the throats of their enslaved ancestors? The Bible approves of slavery and beating of slaves, why do african-americans embrace Christianity?
Also, I forgot to ask why you address these questions to atheists? They seem more targeted at physics and don't really have anything to do with a belief in a God or not.
The one unalterable fact is that neither side can absolutely prove its beliefs. There is always some degree of doubt or improbability in science and there is certainly a lot of doubt and human influence in religion.
The scientific method has advanced humanity much farther along in the short time we have been practicing it as opposed to the centuries we used religion as our primary souce of guidance.
@Elementer117 Theism is man's attempt to make sense of the world around him and find truth. Science is also man's attempt to make sense of the world around him and find truth. An atheist rejects theism in favor of reason as the path to truth. He might also reject reason but that would simply leave him in the world of pure philosophy in which case he is surely lost because there is no truth in that world - only ideas and justifications. The sciences are the bricks making up the atheist's path.
Who wrote the bible? God. Why do you believe in God? Because of bible. But who wrote the bible? God. Okay, but, why do you believe in the bible? Because God wrote it! SMH
Its almost like. Why is the cookie missing? The guy ate it! But why did the guy eat it? Because the cookie is missing. WOW!
@naturalistmind It doesn't work like that, it's "the bible is true because god says so, i know god is the creator of the universe because the bible says so...and how do i know that this is true? oh right, because the bible says so....Repeat until complete brainwash of oneself."
when i read these "question (s) to make atheists think"... based on my previous tangible experience, I now instantly hit the dislike button and look at a different video.
A more realistic title of this video would be ''7 questions i think atheists cant answer even though they can and i just look like an idiot for even asking them instead of using google to find these simple answers''
Domeswag pretty much got them all except #7, in that unless you can manage to live for a few hundred thousands years then we can't show you. What do you care really you haven't looked at the other side and you won't look at theses arguments as based on your intro. I don't understand why YouTube puts these things in suggested videos if they're this closed minded.
@illywacker1 umm. everything? religion refers to faith, which makes reference to hope, -spirituality, thus refers to science and quantum physics, astro physics, and cosmic laws, that govern our universe, of Light, frequencies and waves, thus refers to life, etc. God either is or isn't. 12.22.11
I'm confused are you saying the magical occurrences in the bible are believable because we can't look back millions of years ago? All the bible does is fill in the gaps of history for people who are too simple minded to find the answer. We as atheists understand that there are questions that we may never find the answer to. If there was never Christianity or if Christianity were to vanish there would be another religion that will eventually pop up that will be widely followed.
1. Yes, in the sense of time. Time is relative to energy and its motion, and does not exist when abdicated from one of those two variables. Therefore both follow up questions are rendered invalid.
2. E=MC^2. Matter and energy are the same thing, in different forms. Redundant question.
3. Unkown.
4. No.
5. Religion = The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power. Spontaneous creation =/= a superhuman controlling power. Not a related to religion.
@MrGabapovich The prefix 'super' means 'over'. So it is the belief in something over or greater than humans. Yes, MrGabapovich, it is the belief in the superhuman.
@MrGabapovich No, it wouldn't. I don't know where you learned word theory, but you're twisting semantics to suit your purposes. It means a power greater than that of a human. A superhuman power doesn't have to be superman. Superhuman can be used interchangeably with supernatural in the context of philosophy/religion.
@DomeSwag A superhuman would be what I stated earlier, but something that has superhuman abilities i.e. a superhuman power that isn't human would not be a superhuman.
@MrGabapovich Nope, you're simply wrong. A power greater than humanity (superhuman) wouldn't have to be Superman or The Flash. It could just as easily be an atemporal, omnicient god. And by definition of superhuman, anything that is superhuman could not be a human. My syntax and semantics are sound, you're hitting air with every point you make. I am right, flatly and plainly.
@MrGabapovich I'm going to break this down for you. Superhuman is an adjective which means being above the human or divine. A superhuman power is a force which exceeds human ability. Religions are defined, by Google, as the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, esp. a personal God or gods. There is nothing subjective here to argue about. I am consistently baffled by how blindly you've surged forth in your arguments. You're frivolously modifying definitions at your will. Why?
@DomeSwag "E=MC^2. Matter and energy are the same thing, in different forms. Redundant question" This was not a redundant question. If indeed matter and energy are the same thing (which I agree), then you would assume that energy created itself from non-energy. Also, E=MC^2 has recently come under scrutiny with the latest CERN project findings.
@elshaddei43 Naturally. However, question one in this video is "Do you believe energy has always existed?". Question two is "Has matter always existed?". The latter question is redundant because it is like asking a nigh identical question, twice.
@DomeSwag 6. maybe it is speculated upon as if you now the speed and place of every atom in the universe you could predict what could happen in theory. but we could never know this so therefore humans cannot see but a creation of man might if we programme it with all the knowledge of the universe(once again impossible)
@Trinivalist, EVERY RELIGION IN IT'S OWN CORE IS VERY DIFFERENT EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT THEY REVOLVE AROUND A GOD OR DOCTRINE. Does that clear things up for you? Your welcome!
Nice vid. I can't seem 2 get this atheist 2 stay off my fb. I never even tried 2 evangelize him. He's always engaging believers. I just don't understand y he always engage me if he don't believe. I think it turns him on or something
@squally8830 By that line of logic the guy who made this video got turned on by it. He keeps making videos about this and leaves them all over the web, so he must get off on it too, right? Same with people who go door to door preaching - they must be getting off too!
The truth is you like this video because you agree with it, and dislike the atheist because you disagree with him. That's a double standard - we should care about the behavior.
@thruthewormhole the big bang theory does not account for the pre-existing, exploding gases. What created those gases that exploded in the big bang? The problem here is not if God created all this, the problem is that western religion has misreprested what god is. Try this... close your eyes- what do you see? It looks like darkness. But now imagine that it's potential energy and matter unformed... it just sits there. The great mental force that motivates energy to shape that matter is God.
@frankenboston like who? (not saying that I disagree, I actually agree, but I would like to know where you got that information from... or even better, have you experienced it?)
@Trinivalist yes i have experienced it, the athiest will on purpose refuse to believe based on a set of rules and regulations based on their own environment , which to me is as closed minded as it gets, back the question, yes iv'e seen them, i know friends that have had quick death experiences and were fortunate enouph to disclose the experience, and it's real, life in another dimension, Angels are here to protect and govern the laws of physics and destroy some if need be.
@frankenboston "Refuse to believe"? Maybe your arguments are just bad?
Also, look up what happens when you black out in a centrifuge. It's the same thing that happens in a near death experience - your brain doesn't get oxygen and you start hallucinating. Even people who believe in God acknowledge that near death experiences are definitely just the brain malfunctioning.
@cbarzarzz lol sorry my dear friend and stranger, my experience and statements are not bad. I disagree with complete authority, assurance, and confident in my claims and expertise. your right about the lack of oxygen though. its also to me, a lack of faith and open-mindedness that this dimension we are in being the 3rd , is an illusion in and of itself, that can't be proved or dis-proved otherwise and also. T.L. 12.22.11
For those who support the big bang theory: if you threw 1000000 unassembled wrist watches in the air, there is a higher chance of the pieces landing exactly inplace to form 1000000 working watches then there is for the big bang to actually happen.
@lettercarrier1 and on what basis did you calculate this? How did you determine the probability given that even science is lacking much of the information about the cause of the big bang? did you think no one would call you out?
@satanisthetruegod666 Science is the study of how things work. Science has discovered that there are certain immutable laws of nature... ex: cycles. The law- the mind that created and enforces that law is god... not some big human form with emotions manipulating things. if you were given true religion, you wouldn't argue with this guy. True religion is a discipline for us to realize our full spiritual evolution... the colonizers warped it so they could control the population.
@Trinivalist this doesn't answer any of my questions. And frankly how do you know your religion is right? what evidence can you give that yours is the right answer?
@satanisthetruegod666 well, I'm actually into the study of many religions. I don't cater to any particular religion, because once you get into it, you realize at it's core they're all the same. However, the Kamitic spiritual system gives you a scientific mathematical way of measuring if what it proposes is working. It's gives points for each stage of mastery. That is what religion is supposed to be... a system of practices to elevate a someone from being a 'person' to being the 'Self'.
It was in a book i read, and i forgot the title. Also, i would like to say i truly feel sorry for you. Idk if you are atheist, but if you are, then what is there to lose? Why take the chance of being wrong? You can still be mindful of science, but still love the Lord. And if you are satanist like your name suggests, then you must know that god created satan.
@lettercarrier1 I used to be a satanist and didn't want to make a new channel because this one was already well established, that's why i have a video entitled 'my username'.
You should already know how I'm going to respond to this. This is pascal's wager, go look up Qualiasoup's "Betting on Infinity"
also, I don't see which of my comments you're responding too so, what was in the book?
@lettercarrier1 i went back to see what it was. Anyway, don't believe everything you read, if they list a probability of the big bang, life forming, or complex lifeforms coming about by random chance, I guarantee they are about to pull something out of their ass. If they are talking about the probability of the big bang it's worse than the other two because science doesn't even know what happened, so probability is impossible to determine.
Some well thought out questions, I agree that there is no proof of the big bang, just like there is no proof of the bible being true. I guess I just prefer to not think of myself as someone's entertainment like a neverending movie or video game.
@SuperMilitantAtheist Yes, and no. Some black Christians I know have been able to use it... just like our ancetors used the ancient religions. if you read metu neter- ra un nefer amen version- you would see how he cross references at least five different religions so we know how to use it.
Why did Yahweh assign an angel to protect the tree in the garden after the fact, instead of protecting it before serpent tempts Eve thus, saving humanity (mostly from going to hell)? Why does a perfect being require faith in order for humans to get to heaven when all aspects of their live they us logic and reason...and why allow thousand of religions to exist instead of revealing yourself for the jump ending the confusion?
@MrEmeraldfusion Stop battling religionists on something they don't know. if they understood their religion, they- and you- would know that all of it is metaphor. You're supposed to get to a higher level of understanding to actually gain the power of religion, not take the words as literal events. Damn those colonizers for destroying the sages who were supposed to be teaching the real meaning of this stuff.
Is Yahweh/Jesus all knowing if so why did he change his mind in ex32? If God is perfect why eventually destroy the earth again when he destroyed it once in Noah day...Should he have gotten it right the first time...if he was perfect? Why allow the serpent in the garden knowing in advance it would only cause the downfall of humanity and the universe? Why does Yahweh love blood and death so much...Human and animal sacrifice? When Yahweh watches humans being tortured is that entertainment for him?
Why did God create the universe? Was he bored? Did it want to create beings he could torture and be mindlessly worshipped? Did it want 1,000 of religions to spring up so nobody would agree and they would all be divided so nobody could disguish the right religion? If God is perfect why create a universe doomed you know will fail day or years after?
@MGSGeneral The Bible says God is eternal. If something is eternal then it has no end, it is infinite, and also has no beginning otherwise it would exist in time and therefore not be eternal. If the universe was eternal then there would be an infinite amount of time leading up to now so this time would never be reached, hence why the universe has a beginning.
You say you believe everything that is in the Bible... are you telling me you honestly believe that man should have full authority over women, that (active) homosexuals should be killed and that disformed and handicapped people aren't worth God's love? Is slavery alright? Should men working on Sabbath be killed?
Let me explain to you as well that 'God' supposedly created everything out of nothing. Than aside of that, how did 'He' come to exist?
! it can be proven, do you know algebra? its a good way to say that you can begin in the ending and know the beginning, you can also start in the middle of and equation and solve it, you dont need to "observe" it, but only to observe the effect of the cause, by observing an effect you can come to cause, if one observes the universe effectively enough, one can figure out the cause!!! if you got anything to respond that actually have any thought, answer
... science is when you have an "asumption" and then test it, if you knew even half as my 10 year old brother, you would know that they are testing the big bang in minature ofc in hydron coliders,
your logic that you need to be there to observe the incident for it to be true totaly destroyes the bible, no one today was there to witness jesus, stop asking questions that are trapping when they can as easily be turned around to show an equally fair point
Just because humans don't have the universe figured out yet or may never have it figured out doesn't mean your religion is right. No, saying we don't know yet is not the same as saying god did it. Not understanding that makes you look very very stupid.
The bottom line is that the bible is a second rate (the story has been told before the bible) self contradictory ridiculous piece of shit that is holding humanity back.
Amen my man. People are just saying shit. Cause they don't know how to answer. But it's cool. Humans shouldn't know everything anyway. Were too pathetic and weak to know all the answers.
What an idiot this guy is. We don't have 100% proof of evolution but that doesn't mean were in square 1, we do know the universe is expanding and we do have the proper tools to take this measure which gives us a good theory to continue tracking down the origin of all existense. You are an idiot and religious people should bench you for for letting the village idiot talk on their behalf!
lol these also apply to christians as well cause it has to do with how can god create himself. No one no that cause we have no proof and a book is not proof like you said so we cant write about it if we were not at the beginning of time and also this is not the only planet theres tons of planets and you cant say earth is the first one that was made.America is build around lies money and power and they would do anything to get it
If you had to show me one empirically, 100%, factual, non-opinionated, proof for RELIGION, show it with absolute solid, unarguable, infallible proof now. Video and text responses are accepted.
Are we fighting about the existence of God or our idea of what a God would be like? Christians will fight tooth and nail that there is a God as long as it is their definition of God(so too will Muslims and most other world religions). If a God appeared tomorrow and gave all the scientific evidence for its existence and power; but lacked the personality traits of any world particular world religion. Christians and Muslims would say it was Satan. Atheists would believe though lol
also. when the human race creates a robot or anything mechanical device that has a personallity or the abillity to "think for itself" than i you may attract attention or reason for acknowledgement. otherwise you attract those who rebel for the sake of being against something just to have something to argue about.
Atheists do not need to make positive claims about the formation or nature of the universe in order to reject theistic claims.
Back when people believed gods caused earthquakes, people couldn't have known about tectonic plates. If someone in that age said "I'm not convinced gods cause earthquakes," are they wrong because they don't know the natural explanation? No, they're being intellectually honest, while others are using an argument from ignorance: "I can't explain it, therefore god."
@PazingerZ ONE THINGS FOR SURE IF GOD DOES EXCIST MAN HAS TOTALLY RUIN HIS CREDIBILITY. GOD CREATED THE DEVIL THEREFORE ANYTHING IN THE NAME OF GOD IS ABSOLUTELY HYPOCRISY. ATHEIST AND CHRISTIAN CAN DEBATE IF GOD EXCIST BUT IF THEY CANT COMPREHEND THIS CONCEPT, THERE FUCKED.
BIBLE: BLIND INDIVIDUALS, BELIEVE LIES EVERYTIME.
ITS SO EASY TO DECEIT PEOPLE WITH KIND INTENTIONS.
THE QUESTION IS NOT IF GOD CREATED THE UNIVERSE BUT HOW MANY TIME HAS THIS UNIVERSE BEEN CREATED?
God wants you to believe in something that cant be verified because then it requires faith,if you had 100% evidence what would be the point? God wants you to choice right from wrong because its what you truly believe and not just becuase you know if you do something bad you're going to hell.
Great video, now lets try letting you answer those questions and we'll change "energy and matter" into "god" and see if you end up in the same position?
conservation of energy is only applicable within the framework of physics that exists in our universe. We cant say if those rules apply elsewhere. So questions 1 ,2,3 all parts are irrelevant.
How does 4 apply to anything done in science ?
How does 4 apply to any religion. No human existed more than say a few million years to be generous. The Bible was written within the last few thousand. None of its writers witnessed Genesis or had firsthand evidence from anyone who did.
So,if we assume god created the beginning point of the big bang,he started it; and that god did the same for the beginning of evolution, creating the simple early life forms. That does not disprove big bang theory nor evolution, they still occured; albeit with the help of god, and we study the residual effects today. However, no religious book says thats what happened, and gives other explanations. Therefore, god is not a problem for science, but science is a problem for religion.
This follows so many other videos which equates atheism with science. Scientists which study big bang theory and evolution do not completely dismiss the idea of a creator.Big bang theory has a huge amount of evidence for it,temp, radiation and planetary shifts which fit well the predictions if we assume the big bang occured.Evolution has lots of evidence from fossils, microevolution experimentsand macro evolution signitures...etc.What you have to do is forget for a second the beginning points.
its a shame to see black people still embrace the religion of their ancestors slaves man. U got to drop this shit man. u believe " every word in the bible" ?????
got to work now ... but, as said before, evolution is a fact. Even you accept evolution as a fact. What you deny is the scientific theory that explains the fact of evolution. And your denial is based on ignorance. I will prove both the fact of evolution as well as the theory of evolution to you. But, as I said before, I've got to work now... so, later.
1, 1A, 1A-A, 1A-b, 2, 2A, 2A-A, 3A: Nobody knows. 3. The big bang is not an explosion. 3A-A: There was no matter. There was energy only. 3A-B: No! Relevance? 3A-C: By the observable universe. 3B, 3B-A: Nonsensical questions. 3B-B, 3B-C: No! See CERN. 4, 4A: huh? Relevance? 5. My theory? What are you talking about? 6. No! It is your ignorance of science. 6A. No! 6A-A, 6A-B: Irrelevant (see 6A). 7. You have no concept of what evolution is. I will answer this separately.
Go at museum of natural history and look for yourself.
Who says, that evlution is not true, is living in denial of reality (actualy no surprise, when that person still believes in fairy tales of bible....).
Now, answer this with your "loving God"...
Where snake got his venom and why?
With evolution is easy to explain such an ability - to survive in hostile environment.
I don't know how the cosmos formed, but sticking "God did it" in for all the questions we can't answer is ridiculous and counterproductive to progress.
Question 3A-C: This would be very hard to do but it is possible, just that we dont have the technology yet that I know of to do this but, light takes a certain amount of time to travel through space, therefore if you could see far enough through space past where the light from the big bang hasn't reached yet in space then you should be able to see the big bang actually happening.
bible says jesus said all non jews are pigs and dogs luke 19;27 kill all who refused xtianity. tortured all europe if u left or refused xtianity. god is independant of universe retard.big bang is a theory fool a theory. can jesus withstand a gamma ray burst lift a neutron star , run on a pulsar ect ect
You should rename your video "questions that people with no education will look foolish answering" I dare you to go to a quantum physics professor and ask you 7 questions with a serious face. 20 years ago you wouldn't have been asking these question without google, so why now? Go to school, it will answer all of your questions and major in science if you seriously care.
Do you believe every word of the Quran to be true? What does belief on fictional books like Lord of the rings and the bible have to do with serious scientific questions? What if you're wrong and Zeus is really the one true god. Can you prove Zeus doesn't exist?
You must be very weak minded to believe every word of the bible (book written by men) to be fact and not fiction. Have you read Lord of the Rings? you’d love that book too, it was also written by men, every word of which is true, trust me, take it on faith…who needs evidence when you have faith. Froto had to die but the book tells us to have faith that he will be reunited on middle earth in the future, its true, have faith…believe that too...
It’s ironic that you require evidence for science but not for your fary tale book. I suppose it’s progress of a kind. Its as foolish as saying I believe every word of “The Lord of the Rings to be true fact” (Also a book written by human beings)now can you explain physics to me?? If you fail to explain physics to me that means I win and Lord of the rings is FACT.. Here's an idea, take a quantum physics class, don't you know that "Education is Corrosive to religion" -Richard Dawkins.
CrimsonVoid 2 days ago
These questions have always confused me. Congratulations, you have come up with some questions that cannot be answered. My question to you is: why does it matter? You seem to think that not knowing is some horrible thing that will cause people to suddenly give up on what we know to be true because there are things that we can only speculate about. Why do so many people not realize that it doesn't matter. Also, there is no such thing as 100% proof. That's why science is maliable, it accepts that.
CrimsonVoid 2 days ago

But at least it is based on verifiable assumptions and repeatable experiments and not on a 2000 year old fairy tale book, full of untrue facts.
colouredmirrorball 1 week ago
6A: To some extent. If I bring two charges next to each other I can predict how they will interact. But I can't predict the future of all particles in the universe since calculating that would require more matter than there is in the universe.
6A-A and B: Science is able to predict the future because of our observations. We make laws that make sense and that predict the behaviour of particles. That's how we predict the future with our five senses.
colouredmirrorball 1 week ago
6 (cont): Each time science discovers something, it explains a phenomenon that people used to explain with a theistic theory. You are now doing the same: using the big bang as evidence for the existence of god (as people used to do with lightning and such) because we don't understand it yet. But as soon as science will be able to explain it you will either close your eyes for the explanation, shout it is wrong because it isn't 100 % or just find something else we don't understand yet.
colouredmirrorball 1 week ago
6: There are lots of unknowns yet to be solved (aka "my future job"). These unknowns do not mean that god did it. People used to explain things they don't understand with a theistic explanation (for example lightning). Now we know lightning is just an electrostatic discharge. Perfectly explainable. The unknowns of these days are in particle physics and astronomy. But explaining strange occurences by a god would be making the same mistakes as our ancestors.
colouredmirrorball 1 week ago
5: The beginning of my theory can't be proven? Did you assume I couldn't provide any prove for the big bang? Naughty. You can be fairly certain the big bang has occured. It just takes me a few more years of education before I can show you better proof. I expect people to believe in the BB because it is the logical conclusion of our valid observations.
So you don't take anything from science if it's proof is not 100 % valid but yet you want to believe in the very unprobable existence of a god?
colouredmirrorball 1 week ago
4A: depends on the movie. In my opinion this is a bad analogy. Math is the only science with 100 % true proofs. All other sciences work with assumptions, but they are very probable (as in 99.99999... %). For example we are 99.9 % sure the Higgs boson exists but yet physicists don't want to annouce its discovery until we are 99.99999... % sure. (No numbers are exact, only an example from the top of my mind). Your statement that if something isn't 100 % true then it isn't science is false.
colouredmirrorball 1 week ago
3B-A and B: We don't try to repeat the big bang so no one knows that answer. But if you see for example that the universe is expanding it is very likely it started at 'point zero' with a bang.
4: That is not how math works. How would you be able to start solving an equation in the middle of the solving process? Either someone has made the first part of the solution or you have to make an assumption that is likely to be false. In the latter case your outcome will indeed be based on an assumption.
colouredmirrorball 1 week ago
3A-B: No one was there at that point but evidence of this is observable everywhere in the universe.
3A-C: I'm no expert at this but talk to an astronomer. I can think of that there is background radiation and the fact that the universe is expanding so if you reverse this process there has existed a point in spacetime where everything started.
3B: not sure if I understood this. Do you mean repeating the Big Bang?
colouredmirrorball 1 week ago
3: "Do you believe a mass of matter and energy rotated until it exploded?" This question does not make sense at all... mass is a property of matter and not of energy. Does this question refer to the big bang? If so, there is no such thing as "until" it exploded.
3A: That can't be true.
3A-A: We know that the universe started with a big bang but we don't know what happpened exactly since outside the universe there is no space or time.
colouredmirrorball 1 week ago
1A-A: "can energy create itself?" Of course not, according to the first law of thermodynamics.
2: "Has matter always existed?" The same answer applies as to question 1 since energy and matter are related.
2A: matter can create itself out of energy and vice versa, but no matter or energy can suddenly appear out of nothing.
2A-A: matter gets transferred into energy in for example nuclear reactions. This energy, in the form of other elementar particles, can form new matter.
colouredmirrorball 1 week ago
I don't know if I should be replying to this since I'm only an undergraduate physics student so I might not have understood everything but here goes.
1: "Do you believe energy has always existed?" This is a tricky question since no definition of "always" is given. We can be fairly sure that energy has existed from the Big Bang until now, and as time was created with the Big Bang there is no such thing as "before" the BB.
1A: See above, and also energy can not exist without matter as E=mc²

What does science have to do with atheism?
Elementer117 3 weeks ago
@Elementer117 Theism is man's attempt to make sense of the world around him and find truth. Science is also man's attempt to make sense of the world around him and find truth. An atheist rejects theism in favor of reason as the path to truth. He might also reject reason but that would simply leave him in the world of pure philosophy in which case he is surely lost because there is no truth in that world - only ideas and justifications. The sciences are the bricks making up the atheist's path.

3. Unkown.

@DomeSwag religion isn't belief of a superhuman
MrGabapovich 4 weeks ago
@MrGabapovich The prefix 'super' means 'over'. So it is the belief in something over or greater than humans. Yes, MrGabapovich, it is the belief in the superhuman.
DomeSwag 4 weeks ago
@DomeSwag no, a superhuman would be a HUMAN that is above humans, and not all religions are like that.
MrGabapovich 4 weeks ago
@MrGabapovich No, it wouldn't. I don't know where you learned word theory, but you're twisting semantics to suit your purposes. It means a power greater than that of a human. A superhuman power doesn't have to be superman. Superhuman can be used interchangeably with supernatural in the context of philosophy/religion.
DomeSwag 4 weeks ago
@DomeSwag A superhuman would be what I stated earlier, but something that has superhuman abilities i.e. a superhuman power that isn't human would not be a superhuman.
MrGabapovich 4 weeks ago
@MrGabapovich Nope, you're simply wrong. A power greater than humanity (superhuman) wouldn't have to be Superman or The Flash. It could just as easily be an atemporal, omnicient god. And by definition of superhuman, anything that is superhuman could not be a human. My syntax and semantics are sound, you're hitting air with every point you make. I am right, flatly and plainly.
DomeSwag 4 weeks ago
@DomeSwag I never said that everything superhuman is some superhero. Did you even fucking read my responses? What is wrong with you?
MrGabapovich 4 weeks ago
@MrGabapovich I'm going to break this down for you. Superhuman is an adjective which means being above the human or divine. A superhuman power is a force which exceeds human ability. Religions are defined, by Google, as the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, esp. a personal God or gods. There is nothing subjective here to argue about. I am consistently baffled by how blindly you've surged forth in your arguments. You're frivolously modifying definitions at your will. Why?
DomeSwag 4 weeks ago
@DomeSwag "E=MC^2. Matter and energy are the same thing, in different forms. Redundant question" This was not a redundant question. If indeed matter and energy are the same thing (which I agree), then you would assume that energy created itself from non-energy. Also, E=MC^2 has recently come under scrutiny with the latest CERN project findings.
elshaddei43 2 weeks ago
@elshaddei43 Naturally. However, question one in this video is "Do you believe energy has always existed?". Question two is "Has matter always existed?". The latter question is redundant because it is like asking a nigh identical question, twice.
DomeSwag 2 weeks ago
@DomeSwag 6. maybe it is speculated upon as if you now the speed and place of every atom in the universe you could predict what could happen in theory. but we could never know this so therefore humans cannot see but a creation of man might if we programme it with all the knowledge of the universe(once again impossible)

@satanisthetruegod666 Science is the study of how things work. Science has discovered that there are certain immutable laws of nature... ex: cycles. Anyway, don't believe everything you read, if they list a probability of the big bang, life forming, or complex lifeforms coming about by random chance, I guarantee they are about to pull something out of their ass. If they are talking about the probability of the big bang it's worse than the other two because science doesn't even know what happened, so probability is impossible to determine.
satanisthetruegod666 1 month ago
Some well thought out questions, I agree that there is no proof of the big bang, just like there is no proof of the bible being true. I guess I just prefer to not think of myself as someone's entertainment like a neverending movie or video game.

1 question that should make black christians think: why do you follow the religion of your old christian slave masters?
SuperMilitantAtheist 1 month ago

MrEmeraldfusion 1 month ago
@MrEmeraldfusion Stop battling religionists on something they don't know. if they understood their religion, they- and you- would know that all of it is metaphor. You're supposed to get to a higher level of understanding to actually gain the power of religion, not take the words as literal events. Damn those colonizers for destroying the sages who were supposed to be teaching the real meaning of this stuff.
Trinivalist 1 month ago
Is Yahweh/Jesus all knowing if so why did he change his mind in ex32? If God is perfect why eventually destroy the earth again when he destroyed it once in Noah day...Should he have gotten it right the first time...if he was perfect? Why allow the serpent in the garden knowing in advance it would only cause the downfall of humanity and the universe? Why does Yahweh love blood and death so much...Human and animal sacrifice? When Yahweh watches humans being tortured is that entertainment for him?
MrEmeraldfusion 1 month ago
Why did God create the universe? Was he bored? Did it want to create beings he could torture and be mindlessly worshipped? Did it want 1,000 of religions to spring up so nobody would agree and they would all be divided so nobody could disguish the right religion? If God is perfect why create a universe doomed you know will fail day or years after?

You are filling in your ignorance by saying that an unproven, unobserved, immaterial, supernatural being did it.

Give 100%, infallible, non-opinionated, empirical proof for the existence of your god.

! it can be proven, do you know algebra? its a good way to say that you can begin in the ending and know the beginning, you can also start in the middle of and equation and solve it, you dont need to "observe" it, but only to observe the effect of the cause, by observing an effect you can come to cause, if one observes the universe effectively enough, one can figure out the cause!!! if you got anything to respond that actually have any thought, answer

... science is when you have an "asumption" and then test it, if you knew even half as my 10 year old brother, you would know that they are testing the big bang in minature ofc in hydron coliders,

your logic that you need to be there to observe the incident for it to be true totaly destroyes the bible, no one today was there to witness jesus, stop asking questions that are trapping when they can as easily be turned around to show an equally fair point

im just saying, there is no need for matter to have a cause to start to exist, quantom mechanics people, read about it!

God wants you to believe in something that cant be verified because then it requires faith,if you had 100% evidence what would be the point? God wants you to choice right from wrong because its what you truly believe and not just becuase you know if you do something bad you're going to hell.

7.ring species, influenza viruses, any child, bacteria that digest nylon, lots of other example.

conservation of energy is only applicable within the framework of physics that exists in our universe.
SqueakerAlpha 2 months ago
So,if we assume god created the beginning point of the big bang,he started it; and that god did the same for the beginning of evolution, creating the simple early life forms. That does not disprove big bang theory nor evolution, they still occured; albeit with the help of god, and we study the residual effects today. However, no religious book says thats what happened, and gives other explanations. Therefore, god is not a problem for science, but science is a problem for religion.
pookster78 2 months ago
This follows so many other videos which equates atheism with science. Scientists which study big bang theory and evolution do not completely dismiss the idea of a creator.Big bang theory has a huge amount of evidence for it,temp, radiation and planetary shifts which fit well the predictions if we assume the big bang occured.Evolution has lots of evidence from fossils, microevolution experimentsand macro evolution signitures...etc.What you have to do is forget for a second the beginning points.

The fact of evolution:
1. Species produces more offspring than needed to replace the species.
2. Not all offspring survives to produce offspring of their own.
3. All offspring vary slightly from their parent.
4. Species exist now for which we find no reference in the fossil record.
5. Species are found in the fossil record that differ wildly from the currently living species.
6. Geographic patterns are observed.
All above are facts. The evolution theory explains these facts.

got to work now ... but, as said before, evolution is a fact. Even you accept evolution as a fact. What you deny is the scientific theory that explains the fact of evolution. And your denial is based on ignorance. I will prove both the fact of evolution as well as the theory of evolution to you. But, as I said before, I've got to work now... so, later.

Go at museum of natural history and look for yourself.

Now, answer this with your "loving God"...
Where snake got his venom and why?
With evolution is easy to explain such an ability - to survive in hostile environment.
To kill = eat or defend itself.

Can you please tell me where I will fall over the edge of our planet?
Because according to your stupid book, the Earth is flat!
Now, that itself proofs falsity of bible.
Your stupid assumption with movie is sad....

Th3Grid 2 months ago
You must be very weak minded to believe every word of the bible (book written by men) to be fact and not fiction. Have you read Lord of the Rings? you’d love that book too, it was also written by men, every word of which is true, trust me, take it on faith…who needs evidence when you have faith. Froto had to die but the book tells us to have faith that he will be reunited on middle earth in the future, its true, have faith…believe that too...
Th3Grid 2 months ago
It’s ironic that you require evidence for science but not for your fary tale book. I suppose it’s progress of a kind. Its as foolish as saying I believe every word of “The Lord of the Rings to be true fact” (Also a book written by human beings)now can you explain physics to me?? If you fail to explain physics to me that means I win and Lord of the rings is FACT.. Here's an idea, take a quantum physics class, don't you know that "Education is Corrosive to religion" -Richard Dawkins.
