Well, technically they were doing flight ops during the video, so they weren't "off." These guys just have fun at their jobs! I've worked in the civilian world long enough to know that your nose isn't to the grindstone for 8 hours straight. The air department on a carrier works 16 hours somedays. I think they deserve a little fun every now and then. GO NAVY!

I really want to be a Navy pilot. They are the best in the world. Only ones who come close are Isreali pilots but they aren't good at jet vs jet, they are only good at jet vs land. USN pilots are great a t both. Not to mention almost all of the pilots for experimental aircraft and NASA space shuttles are Navy/ex navy pilots. Ye bitches.

@tiffanyp1209 I have an idea! You should go onto that carrier! Go away from family, fly jets at mach 2, see nothing but ocean for months at a time, live in tiny bunkers that they call "Home," and possibly get sucked into an engine. Because it is obviously such a big deal to you that you have to go on a video and post another meaningless comment, that doesn't even use proper grammar. What are you, twelve? I wish we'd have done this on my ship... Clinton decommed it when it was young. I had the option to leave with full benefits or go to another ship for a short while that I didn't love like my own ship.
Now I have two degrees and still wish that my old ship wasn't 'Mothballed.' Poor USS Cape Cod AD-43... miss you, girl.
