One again it's the old original recordings that have the warmth and charm--minus all the unwanted extaneous noises filtered out of course--terrific ! I agree that some of Eric Coates and Ronald Binge' music are similar, but Coates was more inclined more towards military rumbustious marches. Britain's Light Music traditional history, is virtually unique. They are all Masterpiece's in miniature.
too bad it's not the version from the today's program... with it's sound quality :(
