I know hes in his other band The Fellowship. And hes busy just working, but at the other part of a musician. Giving lessons, clinics and writing columns. I repsect him more for that, he is truely humble. Hes not the kind of guy that is put out there, you have to find him. I read that Satch said that he was an amazing player, thats how I know of him. Well, yeah, maybe it is because he doesn't want to be famous. Maybe he wants to keep learning and learning and improving below the surface. I respect him a lot. There are a lot of guitarists in youtube who can play very fast, accurate, and everything, but when I heard Govan, i thought: "WOOOOOOOW". Then I heard his song playing each guitarist's style, and it impressed me even more, cause it shows how versatile he is. I think Paul Gilbert talked great things about him, too

I think it's very simple to figure out that it was. Let's analyze. Regardless of who you are and how much technique you have THIS 'run' could always be problematic since there are ascending hammer-ons (After the double-hand) on several strings which he is actually not picking in any way except the actual pull-off from the double-hand indeed (if anybody has noticed) AND after the last double-hand the descending arpeggio isn't picked either. Complicated enough to be nervous eh? even for him

good luck with it ha, I play it with two hands but using 2 fingers of my right hand and three of the left hand instead of 1(right hand) 4(left hand) like Guthrie does, I think its easier (at least for me), but my version is more "rubbish" than Guthrie :P
