@Josbaj I th8ink you mean thrust? I was using 2 fountains as drivers...they were NOT commercial drivers that one would use. I may try to get a wheel set up for a shoot I have coming up this Friday...I'm thinking 4 fountains this time.
oh - and be aware of the ejection charge set at the end of the end of the smoke burn cycle (I would gently remove the clay (pale grey) and then the ejection charge (black and chunky) until I reached the smoke layer and then simply re-seal the motor with clay and paper - unfortunaely I suspect this is not within regulatory parameters so I would STRONGLY reccommend that you consult local regulations before any public display.
In fact - if you were to set A3 model rocket engines next to those display drivers, and place a metal or nylon bushing(s) between the bar and axel and lubricate - you ought to be able to get a great deal of speed if you fire them simultaneously -
nce spinie whell thing :D depends on what you want power or lng asting short and fat more power but short asting long and narrow long lasting idk whats the purpuse of this but looks fun lol
Hmmmm.... not sure. This particular set-up is designed for only 2 "drivers"...I think better drivers would make the difference rather than more small ones.
have you tried putting some oil or wd40 on the part where it has the most friction to spinning and then maybe you will get better results but i made something like this with bottle rockets it sucked but i am going to make a larger scale soon but i can not put it on youtube.
Giving it some thought...yes, that should work. The "drivers" I was using were small 1.4 Consumer Fireworks... what would be MUCH better would be to use actual 1.3 Display fireworks drivers.
Unfortunately, I am not yet licensed for those... when I am, I will post those results.
Cool but if i got a quater for every pixel i saw i would be a millionare
