  • @spaceword I don't know? Hmmm???? I've been having some problems with my you tube site lately. Can't feature videos on my page. You can message me at Donnagabonna@live.com until it gets resolved.

  • Hello Donna, are you ok my friend? Please drop me a line....

    Bless your heart,

    Mark...

  • I love this....love John Hartford, as you know already! Going to see his son at Merlefest Donna! Meanwhile, coming by to bring you hugs and let you know how much I will miss your channel...and you if you don't put that channel back up!

  • Hey no I didn't mean to make it sound like I was upset about it. I just thought it was kind of funny.

  • What's with the Picture of the Haints? I thought this was going to be them playing it because that was the photo shown in the thumbnail.

  • Love John Hartford, love the song and really love the pictures and captions! ;)

Glad I visited this one again today. I miss you, friend! REally do!

I have audio only of John playing fiddle on a porch...me sitting at his feet. Must get them out and see if they are worth uploading. He was sitting right next to a screen door and people kept passing through, so the songs are full of "squeeeek....SLAM...squeeeeek...SLAM" ;) I will check them out though and upload if not too bad. xo NAncy

  • I used to go down to the Mississippi..on a romote dock to relax....John moored his steamer...Julie Belle Swain and brought a flat over to the dock.......he had on the vest and his pilots hat.,.....nice guy and he stopped and chatted...I ended up getting some caliope parts free cuz they were converting from steam......it was very relaxed...no hint of 'Star"....just talking about steamboats and caliopies
