Maann, I knew this song through Tenchi Muyo ! At the time, I was just a kid and was just trying to mimic lyrics 'cause I couldn't understand english. Then I grew up and happened to listen to it. I laughed good when I realised how they had hundreds of kids happily singing such lyrics, but hey, I love it even more now !

Chisa Yokoyama actually did a good job in English...I was impressed. And Sharyn Scott did a good job as well...her version of "Talent for Love" is one of the better English versions of any anime song.

It's possible that that's a translated version of the second verse, in case that still matters. I don't think a full English version was ever released

I produced and directed this concert video so I can tell you that the audience was all animé fans who had lined up around the block and waited for hours to be there. P.S. The guitar solo is by James Harah who was in Madonna's band at the time. P.P.S. I had no influence on Chisa's wardrobe. : >)

I love this song! One of my most beloved anime songs and especially since the Tenchi series were long over, the song reminds me of a great series. The japanese version is nice but I prefer Sharyn Scott's version of it more so. This concert is very nice to showcase Chisa's english interpretation of it!
