Well I been reading these comments and if you are ever lucky enough to get up at sunrise and watch them dance, there is no fighting. Its a showoff dance. But unless you have actually saw the dance by the birds, then your comments dont mean much. lol. And you actually have to hide to watch them dance, if they see you, they quit dancing and move. fyi.
it is a beautiful sight to behold. A buddy of mine took me to the breeding grounds early early in the morninig when i visited him in south dakota in late march...the best chicken dancers of all..lol. The originators!
