I've been working with Microsoft OS software from DOS 1.0 since 1982, and Windows since Version 1.0 (which was a cute/hilarious attempt by Microsoft to copy the astoundingly solid Apple Macintosh OS). Microsoft products were crap back then, are crap today, and will continue to be crap until they become a subsidiary of Google. I can make Windows work most of the time, but on frequent occasions it presents the stupidest, mind-numbing problems. My wife's Mac, however, simply works. Always.
I have a brand new laptop Windows 7, and nothing but viruses, freezes, more viruses and more freezen. Its a fucken price if shit! Fuck the PC's, hello Macs!

About the same stability, less applications, if you just search online, worse performance, unless you pay thousands, which you could do to buy a supercomputer, they do crash, PCs are just as smooth, they only get slow because of shit you download, a mac would too if you loaded that on it.
@CSRgamer Yeah but for my work a Pc doesn't work properly. So i switch to a mac. And am no longer getting any headache of viruses, and it works more smooth than my PC. Btw i got a 320GB HD and i already have 190GB used, more than in my Pc. For now my mac haven't let me down yet. Yeah i have that beach ball but it have only appeared one time in 7 months. The OS is more easy in my opinion but win7 doesn't have to envy. noting to snow leopard, but it stills haves yo innovate more. just my opinion:)
That's because your PC was old, and you probably didn't have anti-virus software, or if you did it sucked lol, and your mac is new. My PC has 1 Terrabyte by the way. How much did you pay for your mac?
@CSRgamer well it wasn't that old. I buy it in 2009 with 4GB of Ram and 320 of HD, with intel Core 2 Duo 2.24Ghz. But i can remember the anti-virus :/ it only worked well for like 6 months, after that it start having lots of problems like shouting down its self and crashing every program(don't know why). And i find a Pc with almost the same memory, HD and processor. And am very happy with it :)

Actually, while Macs may be "cooler", as you put it, PCs have been shown to be more user-friendly. Macs are better when you want to do more complex things, like programming or design, but PCs work better for people who want to do simple things, like word processing or playing computer games. Apple is, by far, the superior company in terms of cell phones and MP3 players, but in terms of computers, I prefer PCs if only because Macs are too different for my liking, as it is for a lot of people.
@randmperson2 I don't think you have a clue about what you're saying. Nobody is programming on a mac. I'm studying at the game development university and absolutely everything is being done on a pc except the documentary classes. The only "best" thing apple has is the ipods. The android phones are getting better than the iphones.

I have never found a Mac that is as powerful or close to as powerful as my PC and I have looked up plenty of Macs I like Macs but I think your statement was kind of unfair considering most PC builders (like myself) use Windows XP or Windows 7 and make computers so powerful they require liquid to cool and in some more extreme cases Liquid Nitrogen. Also Macs do freeze and crash sometimes just like PC's my old PC has still not crashed in over 5 years of use I have to fix Macs all the time.

people who make viruses aren't idiots, they know what there doing. So if you look at statistics more people use pc but also more people use pcs for banking and online purchases so they have the choice, make a virus that works on 3/4 of all computers or 1/4 (made up stats)
im not sure about other countries but in australia you have to make an appointment at your local mac store to even ask about a problem, but with my pc i can just as easily ring one of many people that will come to my house and most likely fix the problem or advise me what to do

@CSRgamer Yeah but for my work a Pc doesn't work properly. So i switch to a mac. And am no longer getting any headache of viruses, and it works more smooth than my PC. Btw i got a 320GB HD and i already have 190GB used, more than in my Pc. For now my mac haven't let me down yet. Yeah i have that beach ball but it have only appeared one time in 7 months. The OS is more easy in my opinion but win7 doesn't have to envy. noting to snow leopard, but it stills haves yo innovate more. just my opinion:)

@CSRgamer well it wasn't that old. I buy it in 2009 with 4GB of Ram and 320 of HD, with intel Core 2 Duo 2.24Ghz. But i can remember the anti-virus :/ it only worked well for like 6 months, after that it start having lots of problems like shouting down its self and crashing every program(don't know why). And i find a Pc with almost the same memory, HD and processor. And am very happy with it :)

Macs may sound more appealing to users who just want to email and surf the web but know nothing about computers...and that is why Macs may become more popular in the future. But ill tell you one thing, i will use my PC until PC's have become obsolete because im not a computer idiot who thinks anything you do online gets you a virus. @hoyaboy32 funny but only half true, macs run games and if trust me on this (i used windows software for like 16 years and apple for 3 now) it is impossible to a regular pc to keep up with a mac with the same specifications. specially anything involved in multimedia / design works.
and lets not forget the virus / trojans / malwares and other crap that exists to windows ...
in the end i use both to make my things mac to work and Windows exclusively to play games.

I have like 500,000 photos and it takes little to no time to find the photos i want. my computer cost $800. An equal mac that well can't do as much $2000+ mac = noober

Actually, while Macs may be "cooler", as you put it, PCs have been shown to be more user-friendly. Macs are better when you want to do more complex things, like programming or design, but PCs work better for people who want to do simple things, like word processing or playing computer games. Apple is, by far, the superior company in terms of cell phones and MP3 players, but in terms of computers, I prefer PCs if only because Macs are too different for my liking, as it is for a lot of people.

I'm studying at the game development university and absolutely everything is being done on a pc except the documentary classes. The only "best" thing apple has is the ipods. The android phones are getting better than the iphones.

Man I love this commercial. So they're saying mac's have like no problem but PC's have (freezing, they need Antivirus, they don't have as much keyboard shortcut as Macs, they're just last year). Get a New Life with Mac the future. it's easy fast never freezes with cool tricks. Automatic screen sharing. Damn I could run all my programs at the same time. and it will run faster than a PC.

I have never found a Mac that is as powerful or close to as powerful as my PC and I have looked up plenty of Macs I like Macs but I think your statement was kind of unfair considering most PC builders (like myself) use Windows XP or Windows 7 and make computers so powerful they require liquid to cool and in some more extreme cases Liquid Nitrogen. Also Macs do freeze and crash sometimes just like PC's my old PC has still not crashed in over 5 years of use I have to fix Macs all the time.

people who make viruses aren't idiots, they know what there doing. So if you look at statistics more people use pc but also more people use pcs for banking and online purchases so they have the choice, make a virus that works on 3/4 of all computers or 1/4 (made up stats)

I would agree that Macs tend to be for people who are not that knowledgeable about computers. But is that so wrong? Maybe I do want a computer that is easier to use and comes with everything already installed.
Now granted, if you do know a lot about computers, PC's are probably better as there's way more options and they're more customizable, but I don't see anything wrong with me wanting a computer that I don;t have to spend years learning how to use
