  • Oh to be back in 1973!

    :-)

  • Wow!!!

Extreme at the left on a photo - Timi Donald (ex. Sandy Denny Band 1972) :)

  • So mANY GREAT SONGS ON THIS lp. Timi's Black Arrow (written by the drummer) is sadly not on youtube.

  • Proving once and for all that a good ballad doesn't have to be 7 minutes long. 3:21 is just perfect.

  • Who were the members of this band? Did they have other projects?

We should all get together in one huge living room & listen to old records!

  • @mjpers1 We are, it's called youtube! :)

  • @mjpers1

The members: Hughie Nicholson /Guitar/Vocals/keyboard, Ian McMillan Bass/guitar and vocals, Tim Donald Drums.

There was another guitarplayer called Jimmy McCulloch that died of an overdose of heroin 1979, among other things he played bass in the group "the wings" when Paul McCartney played the piano and McCulloch also formed a band called wild horses with Brian Robertson (Geordie, AC/DC.)

  • Another great track from one of the most sinfully ignored albums ever made. Not saying it was the best album ever, but my god this one deserves to be in every right-minded persons music collection. Thanks for the post.

  • I suspect the you'll find it's an Ian McMillan song.

  • Nice and pastoral song from "Hugh Nicholson", that was a singer and a composer in "Songs", album from Marmalade band (1972)

  • You beat me to it, love this track from a superb album, it was the 'B' side of Little Jody which made me buy the album. Have uploaded I Wonder If I'm Making It instead myself, but this track was class. Thanks for the upload AGAIN.
