My two brothers, mother, sister, auntie & uncle, god-son and more have journeyed. I just would like to shed a little light on what being saved means. The bible says, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved. you have to confess that Jesus is Lord and you must believe in his death burial and resurrection . you have to believe that he rose from death. then repent of your sins and then be baptized.
How do I know I'm saved? Well one, I was baptized in Jesus name two, I repented to the lord for all the things I done and three The lord knew I was ready so he came into my heart. That's how I know!
I can answer that ThMyjoyful. The Rapture is when Jesus comes back to take the people who is ready to take them to heaven with him. The only way you can be ready is you got to be saved. I'm saved. That is the Rapture. You have to be ready.

Im young, almost in high school next year, and what I realize is that us young girls/guys too are too vulnerable to the enemy. I have feared for no reason, and I know it isn't God. That is believe that he can save you, and then believe by grace that he can continually keep you.

God loves all music with glorifying lyrics. Whether it has a hip-hop, punk rock, R&B, rap, jazz, hymn, ANY TYPE IN THER WORLD HE LOVES IF IT HAS LYRICS OF HIS TEACHINGS! Ok, so those kinds of music aren't "decent and in order"? I agree, and I respect the bible, but I believe that God would like us to enjoy all music that lifts our spirits. Some people don't really get into the normal sunday- morning slow gospel as much. I love all gospel, I don't care what type of beat it has. If you can dance to it, that adds to the better. Im young, almost in high school next year, and what I realize is that us young girls/guys too are too vulnerable to the enemy. I have feared for no reason, and I know it isn't God. Young people these days are headed in the wrong direction- fighting, swearing, sinning out of control- but we all need to look up to God. He's greater than everything we go through- what we are going through is little to Him. He can fix it all n a miraculous way that'll leave you joyous and feeling blessed.

I hope you hold on to that as you get older. I'm 20 and felt the same way when i was your age but as I got older I started to make simple mistakes i use to say I never would make but I always happen to catch myself before I do something I'll regret. i hope you'll do the same if you should ever mess up. I go to a public school and its ridiculous how determined these kids are to break me...but I just keep this song in mind and remember that It will all be worth it...all the pain will be worth it! I think people got too caught up in "Superfriend" and "God In Me." Those two are the only ones that I immediately knew would push the envelope of gospel music. But nothing about their music is "worldly." People will just say that and forget about the other music that they make. Songs like this, "Yesterday," "I Worship You," and "Call Him Jesus." They find millions of ways to praise God. That's what I love about them. They never make the same kind of music twice. They always grow.

Wow. Come on. Secular twang? Secular record label? First of all, without words, how do you classify a sound? As long as the words glorify Jesus, it shouldn't matter what the music sounds like. Secondly, check ALL the Gospel Cd's you have. If the CD isn't on a MAJOR label, it's probably distrubuted by a major SECULAR label. Kirk Franklin was distributed by Interscope for years, Yolanda Adams was signed to Elektra. A great number of Gospel artists are signed to "Secular" labels. And furthermore,

Being asked to lay hands and pray for people, being asked to do shows for free and stretch yourself because people don't realize that you're a real person.
