De chavito me confundía ver a Big Bird. Porque no entendía que en Los Yunaited Esteits la versión de P Sésamo es diferente.

As a little kid I used to get so confused, because I didn't know why were there 2 different birds. One from our mexican version of the show (Abelardo) and Big Bird whom I saw in movies and books. Then I realized that those are different versions.

But a lot of the clips were thesame, at least they used to be in the 80's and early 90's. THey just dubbed the voices of Kermit (René), Cookie (Comegalletas), Groover (Archivaldo ...no?)

I think on every country they have a big character _for example here in Mexico we have Abelardo and in USA they have Big bird, maybe that is for being more local with the people where they broadcasting.

This was from Sesame Street. It has Abelardo Montoya from Plaza Sesamo. According to Muppet Wiki, Abelardo Montoya appeared on the American Sesame Street to celebrate Cinco Demyo. This was on Season 28. During the "Around the Corner." BTW, They never have Birdseed Milkshakes in Mexico.
