Democratic nations seldom go to war willingly. The natural instinct of voters is to preserve peace whenever possible. Aided by a free press, there is also never a shortage of those ready to suggest alternatives to conflict. Yet sometimes war is inevitable. My grandfater born in Brighton, fought along-side American solidgers in WWII to rid Axis-powers from the destruction of the world. Americans did not want anything to do with the bloody war mate. I am not for the killing of innocent people, but let me ask you this: is it morally just, too just sit back and let innocent people die at the hands of despots and evil dictators like Sodom Husain? Husain tortured and killed thousands of his own people. Im not sure about the exact numbers but didn't American military kill more or equal to the amount of people Saddam has killed in his entire reign?! in a short span of the invasion?.
