@brianallancobb Neil Young may have lost his mind during this tour, but I think "Time Fades Away" as an album is one of his best. I know why he doesn't like it though.
My least favorite was Tonight's the Night, back when I was still tuned in.
I tuned out after American Stars and Bars, tuned back in long enough to hear Hey, Hey, My, My and see the concert movie Rust Never Sleeps, then tuned back out until "Freedom" and "Ragged Glory".
Listened to a little of Harvest Moon and nothing since. He seems like a boring old fart anymore, although taking his career as a whole, he's great, if damaged.

The thing about Neil Young is that he is a mortal human being, meaning that he physically ages and one day, like everybody else, is going to die, but as far as his creativity goes, he hasn't let his mortality change him. On his new album, the reoccurring theme seems to be death and aging, which he approaches with such a new and fresh sound. He's always going in different directions. That's how he stays young. Through his music.

Saw Neil in Portland on this tour, and he was really bad, and I'm a fan.
He'd fired Danny Whitten from the band, who promptly ODed(and died) on heroin, and I don't think his head was ever into this tour.
He's been quoted as saying Time Fades Away (the album made from the tour) is his least favorite.
